Ghetsis (Japanese: ゲーチス G-Cis) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. He forms a sync pair with Kyurem. This sync pair was first made available on May 4, 2021. The pair's potential can be upgraded to 6★ EX from October 31, 2022, which unlocks Ghetsis's EX style. However, unlike most sync pairs, this pair cannot be upgraded with Champion Spirits—only Custom Legendary Spirits from the villain event The Captured King can be used.

Trivia
- It has been implied that Ghetsis is from a different universe, as he arrived on Pasio via Hoopa's rings and immediately wondered where the Shadow Triad had gone. He was also surprised when he learned that some characters already knew that Kyurem can fuse with Reshiram and Zekrom.
- Ghetsis & Kyurem are the only Tech sync pair that can be obtained by completing Legendary Adventures.
Origin
Ghetsis's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. Kyurem is a Legendary Pokémon that Ghetsis controls during the climax of Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. Kyurem's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Black 2 and White 2.
