Celebi Rescue is a Pokémon chapter book in the Battle Frontier series. It was written by Tracey West and published by Scholastic.
Plot
This book follows the plot of the Pokémon the Series: Ruby and Sapphire episode Green Guardian. In the story, Ash and his friends find a Celebi in the forest who injured itself while putting out a forest fire. They nurse it back to health with a Pokémon Ranger named Solana.
When Team Rocket tries to steal Celebi, Ash and his friends fight against them to protect it. They defeat the evil trio, but their mecha explodes in the process, causing another forest fire. Celebi uses its powers to put out the fire, and then disappears in a blinding flash of light.
Deep in a forest, many Pokémon stood, stuck in a fire. Not even Flying-types could escape because of the smoke. Suddenly, a small green Pokémon with transparent wings appears, and the forest Pokémon are filled with hope. Celebi, the Pokémon that had appeared, flew into the fire, coming out un-harmed. The fire turned into vines, but everything was still charred. Before Celebi could make the chars disappear, a tree fell down, but Celebi went somewhere in time.
