Lapis and Rhubarb are sisters with a shared love for mysterious and magical artifacts. One day, the two mages came across an ancient orb, shimmering with latent power. Upon touching the orb, a sinister presence was awakened. Sealed away for 5000 years, the accursed Doomer was freed along with his endless swarm of minions. Now tasked with defeating this world-ending threat, Lapis and Rhubarb must combine their powers to fight back against the shadowy horde. Fortunately, they have discovered newfound power within the orb, but will it be enough to save them?

It is highly recommended that you use a controller to play.

Yeah, that was pretty unique. Congrats on your placement!

After three attempts, I figured out what was messing me up and finished the game. Despite the instructions, it seemed my brain associated left character -> left control, right character -> right control. If I ever got Lapis on the right and the Rhubarb on the left, it felt like I was controlling the wrong one.

Other than control issues, this is great! Good job all around.

Thanks for checking out the game :D
Yeah it does take time getting used to it.

That was really fun! Hard to believe it turned out so well and polished feeling with so little time. The art and music gave it a very charming feel, and the game play was simple but very solid.

Thanks for checking out the game :3

Thats a very interesting idea, and a clever approach to the jam's theme. I loved the graphics, especially the two characters.

The core gameplay is fun, though a bit difficult, at least on the keyboard.

Thanks for checking out the game. We are making the keyboard controls more easy to use in the post-jam updates.

What would you like improved other than the keyboard controls?

What a fun game! The chaotic nature of the game was well done. I felt like I was learning how to properly play the game as I got further and further into it. Incredible! I was able to defeat The Doomer and it felt amazing.

The artwork, sound, and music were fantastic.

I encountered no major bugs. It included a tutorial and a final boss. This is quite the mind-boggling achievement! Also, lol at submitting it just 7 minutes, 35 seconds before the deadline
