About us

LMT Innovations is a branch of Latvia's most-connected mobile operator, dedicated to solutions for tomorrow's technologies. Rooted in 20th century electro-engineering innovations From radios and telephones to spy cameras and even planes, the VEF National Electronics Factory (est. 1919) was known for its level of quality and speed of innovation. Though the VEF factory was met with an untimely end in the 90s, the team went on to the next promising market - mobile networks. And with them, LMT (Latvian Mobile Telephone) was born, carrying the spirit of innovation into the realm of mobile services. Moving to mobile For over 25 years, LMT has established a reputation as the most trusted mobile operator in the Baltic country of Latvia, and has been acknowledged internationally - as the most efficiently-loaded mobile network in the Nokia network. It didn't happen overnight. It was a concerted effort to weed the greed out of the typical mobile operator modus operandi, and remove fear of network overload. We proved to ourselves, our shareholders, and the world around us that it's possible to offer customers high-speed limitless internet - and still turn a profit. Innovation is in our DNA - we're on a constant search for the newest ideas, technologies, solutions, and applications.
