A day of connection, storytelling, and mutual empowerment – that's what the Female Founders Lunch offered our wonderful attendees last Tuesday, July 9th. ☀️ 🫧 We want to thank our amazing speakers and guests: 🔥 Keita Augstkalne - co-founder and the CEO of Fungo - the digital health startup is improving and monitoring pediatric oncology patient movement habits with AR-based interactive game elements. With a background in Product Design, User Experience, and Brand Strategy she shared a few key takeaways that she learned throughout her journey: "It's okay not to know everything - just knowing the next step is enough; it's important to understand what truly motivates you; and the contacts and your network is a key to finding the specialist you need - you just need to ask." 🤩 Nauris Dorbe - the founder and CEO of Blossom Reads - a service that lets you create captivating children's books with your hero as the star of their own adventure. Nauris, with over 8 years of experience, has led teams and developed cutting-edge AI projects, including self-driving cars and 5G radio automation. He founded Virtuall, raising $1.2M, and recently exited to focus on Blossom Reads. Nauris shared 8 simple lessons about becoming an Entrepreneur: “The path of entrepreneurship is challenging and requires significant sacrifices. However, there comes a point when you realize that these very challenges define entrepreneurship. It's then, that you begin to appreciate the difficulties and take pride in having the courage to embark on this journey” 💥 Annija Eizernama - co-founder of the Echoo Group - one of the leading suppliers of Design & Build Engineering solutions for Building management systems and Smart City solutions across Europe and co-owner of the SIA “BISS” - pioneers in parking and access automation solutions, with a 25 years expertise in developing IT software and hardware solutions for service and businesses tasks management. Annija shared her amazing foundress story, which led us to a few key learnings - that there are no shortcuts to expertise and you have to fear less. ⭐️ And thanks to Anda Penka - the co-founder and CEO of Fermentful - for treating us with their amazing product, that combines the power of plants and science to produce fermented dairy-free drinks that benefit mental and physical well-being and are good for the planet.
