GreenValley International LiGrip O1 Lite in a comparison test against Riga’s public high-detail topographic data, we conducted an RTK scan with exceptional results! XY alignment matched perfectly by default, while for Z, we made a slight elevation adjustment using values from the city’s drawing. With six ground control points set on a flat, evenly distributed surface within the scan area, the max difference observed was only 2–3 cm, with most areas showing a variance of just 0–1 cm. This confirms both the high-quality surveying done and the precision performance of LiGrip. Incredible results! The scan with the LiGrip O1 Lite took just five minutes, with data processing complete within 15 minutes. Plus, there’s a real-time colorized point cloud available! The point cloud you see here has been cleaned of moving objects like pedestrians, cars, and bikes, making it highly precise and ready for further use. In the summer of 2023, we had the pleasure of conducting a successful demo and test scan for AROUND architecture studio . Using the LiGrip H300 from GreenValley International we captured a detailed point cloud of the Lielvārde Castle ruins for the creation of a digital twin and territory reconstruction as part of the @ogresnovads design competition, which they recently won! 🥇 We are thrilled with the outcome and proud to have contributed to such an impressive project. The results are outstanding, and we can't wait to see the design come to life!
