🤖 From July 7 to 12, the international cyber security summer school Cyber Security - Agile Methodology for Developing New Solutions was held. This event was organized by the RTU Science and Innovation Centre in cooperation with the training center SIA Magnetic Professional (Apmācību centrs MP). 🤝 🎯The aim of the summer school was to improve the knowledge and skills of its participants in cyber security and 5G using the Agile (Scrum) methodology. The summer school was organized with the support of the knowledge and innovation community EIT Digital of the EIT - European Institute of Innovation and Technology. A total of 15 participants from various countries, including the USA, France, Moldova, and others, attended the summer school. 🙌 Special thanks to our partners from CERT.LV, Latvijas Mobilais Telefons SIA, Latvian State Radio and Television Centre, Ministry of Defense (Aizsardzības ministrija), RTU Liepāja, and Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University) for their support in ensuring the success of the event!

🚀 Earlier this summer, as part of the PhD BalticTeach project, we launched the PhD BalticTeach Summer School, focusing on the theme Market and the Customer. 🧠💡 Over three days of intensive work, PhD students, guided by top-notch lecturers and mentors, immersed themselves in transforming innovative research into real-world products and services. It was a whirlwind of learning and growth, from understanding market needs and identifying customers to developing business models and pitching to investors. Special thanks to the programme lecturers, Davids Stebelis and Solvita Kostjukova, as well as guest lecturers, Mihails Ščepanskis and Kristine Irtiseva, for their invaluable guidance and support.
