📢 Skills4Retail Dublin Meeting & Ministerial Support 📢 Today marks the conclusion of a productive two days in Dublin for the Skills4Retail programme, with a major highlight being the support from Minister Emer Higgins, who met with key consortium stakeholders at Leinster House yesterday. Minister Higgins championed the programme’s mission to address the critical skills gaps in the retail sector, emphasising the importance of preparing Ireland’s retail workforce for the future — one that’s digital, green, and resilient. Her words reinforced the vital role that Skills4Retail will play in equipping the retail industry with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in a rapidly evolving marketplace. Minister Higgins’ backing is a significant milestone for the programme as we continue to provide future-ready upskilling opportunities across Ireland and Europe. Today's discussions were equally forward-looking, focusing on strategic campaign planning and our engagement with the Retail Skills Alliance to connect with Europe’s Retail Ecosystem Transition Pathway. We wrapped up with a look ahead at our project’s next steps and a status update on our report to the European Commission. With strong governmental support and a clear roadmap, the Skills4Retail programme is gaining momentum. We are excited about the journey ahead to upskill and future-proof the retail workforce. #Skills4Retail #RetailFuture #LeinsterHouse #RetailSkills #FutureOfWork
