#GoInternational 🌍 On the last day of the #Saarland Mission, the main programme continued with a visit at the Center for Mechatronics and Automation Technology gGmbH (ZeMA gGmbH) a cooperational research institute in Saarland, showcasing demonstrators in the areas of the digital factory of the future, automated systems and automotive assembly. After a lunch break in Homburg, the trade mission was rounded off by a visit at Robert Bosch GmbH where the group learned more about how the company produces green hydrogen, which can be used for future production and mobility. The #Luxembourg participants headed home with many new impressions and ideas for future collaborations 💡. #LUinBelgium: Luxembourg-Belgium State Visit 🤝 Day 2 of the state mission to Belgium saw a comprehensive exploration of security and defence challenges in space, spanning cyber, defence, and space realms. Luxembourg Ministers Lex Delles (Minister of the Economy, SMEs, Energy, and Tourism) and Yuriko Backes (Minister of Defence), alongside Belgian Minister of Defence Ludivine Dedonder and State Secretary for Economic Recovery and Strategic Investments Thomas Dermine, convened for this significant session. Additionally, during the event, there was a significant moment with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between HITEC Luxembourg S.A. and AMOS. Minister Lex Delles shares: "In Luxembourg, these space companies with strong commercial ideas can benefit from a full range of support. Here's a recap of the key highlights: • MoU between AMOS SA and HITEC Luxembourg S.A.: this collaboration between two European SMEs aims to pioneer new ground antenna designs for optical satellite communications. Signed in the presence of Belgian Secretary of State for Economic Recovery and Strategic Investments, Mr. Thomas Dermine, and Luxembourg Minister of the Economy, SMEs, Energy, and Tourism, Mr. Lex Delles, this agreement underscores the strong ties between Belgium and Luxembourg in sectors like space and cyber security. • Joint Seminar on Security and Defence Challenges in Space: the seminar themed "Converging Cyber, Defence, and Space" convened Belgian and Luxembourg partners from the space, cybersecurity, and defence sectors. The seminar facilitated discussions on shared projects and explored avenues for further cooperation. #LUinBelgium | State visit | Security and Defence Day 2 of the state mission to Belgium is marked by a full-day focus on security and defence challenges in and from space, encompassing the cyber, defence and space domains. The session took place in the presence of Luxembourg Ministers Lex Delles (Minister of the Economy, SMEs, Energy, and Tourism) and Yuriko Backes (Minister of Defence), as well as Belgian Minister of Defence Ludivine Dedonder and State Secretary for Economic Recovery and Strategic Investments Thomas Dermine.    Luxinnovation supports industry and research players in Luxembourg in the development of technologies and innovations that could be applied in the fields of security and defence and helps them integrate the European and NATO defence value chain. The Belgian-Luxembourg collaboration in this field is particularly valuable. 🛰️ Minister Lex Delles shares: "Today, we have more than 80 companies and institutions active in the space sector employing more than 1,400 people.
