🌍 Mobilising private capital is crucial to bridging the annual USD 4 trillion funding gap for the UN SDGs, and blended finance is a key structure supporting this process.   This month, we interviewed Guillaume Bonnel, CEO of the SDG Impact Finance Initiative (SIFI) and member of the LSFI Impact Investment Advisory Board. He shared insights on the reasons behind these funding gaps and best practices for mobilising private capital. 📣 The Action Plan of the Luxembourg Gender Finance Task Force is out!   🎯 What is the Luxembourg Gender Finance Taskforce? The Luxembourg Gender Finance Task Force aims to step up the role of women in the financial center. It focuses on two areas: Women in Finance, which is the representation of women at decision making levels and Finance for Women, ensuring financial services meet the specific needs of women and promoting gender lens investing in the Luxembourg financial center.   📋 What is the Action Plan?  Announced by the Luxembourg Finance Minister, Gilles Roth, the Gender Finance Task Force action plan sets out ambitious action points to advance gender finance in Luxembourg's financial centre. It was a pleasure taking part in the first edition of Nexus 2050. This in-person symposium brought together experts from the Luxembourg and international financial industry, fintech, and sustainability, among many others, to discuss the role of innovations & technology and the latest trends in this space.    On this occasion, we had the pleasure of participating in two panel discussions:   💡 Nicoletta Centofanti, LSFI CEO, moderated the panel “Sustainable finance 4.0: How Regulation and Fintech Can Support the Sector and Drive Change”. She discussed with Anne Calteux, Julien Froumouth, and Tiago Freire de Andrade how the shift towards sustainable finance and new regulatory requirements present unique opportunities for the future of #fintech (and our planet).    🔎 Lorenzo Avico, LSFI Deputy CEO, participated in the panel “The Future of Sustainable Finance through DLT Innovation”. He exchanged views with Emilie Allaert, David DUROUCHOUX, Julie Millot and Yves Elomo Onana on the importance of using automation to improve operations and taking a vertical approach to avoid silos in sustainable finance.   Hats off to the organisers for these two days filled with thought-provoking insights.
