It was a real pleasure to officially inaugurate our embassy in #Seoul. Yesterday and today, we were pleased to welcome a delegation of EU officials from various EU institutions, participating in the EU Summer School of AI in #Luxembourg. We kicked off with an introduction to Luxinnovation's areas of focus, followed by David Foy's insights into Luxembourg's economic landscape and key strategic sectors. This visit also included a tour of #Belval, a place with a rich history. Did you know that for over a century, Belval was the heart of Luxembourg's steel industry, producing steel for all of Europe? In the 1990s, the steel crisis led to the closure of these facilities. Instead of demolishing the blast furnaces, a bold decision was made to integrate them into a new urban development. Since April 2024, Teraki has been officially incorporated in #Luxembourg. Drawing inspiration from successful examples like Skype, which scaled from Luxembourg, and Pony.ai, a US company that recently established a European branch here, the CEO believes this move will significantly enhance their global reach. The company aims to accelerate the market entry of its AI-driven autonomous vehicle solutions.
