📣 Save the date for the International Moon Day hosted at Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) on 20 July 📣 🌑 The next decade has the extraordinary potential to see more missions to the Moon, enabling humanity to understand more about our natural satellite and our place in the universe, as well as set the scene for the next step: the red planet, Mars.   The lunar surface contains diverse wonders that trigger the curiosity of an array of expertise: from mapping its surface, to understanding the composition of regolith and the ways it can enable a more sustainable human presence in space, the Moon is a multidisciplinary wonder.   🗓 Join us on Saturday 20 July 2024 for a fascinating edition of the International Moon Day, focused on scientific work dedicated to our natural satellite. Join us this Saturday during Asteroid Day for an engaging panel, moderated by the SciLux and Resourceful podcast host, Hanna Siemaszko, in which we would like to understand more about what space resources are and the potential they have in making space exploration a cleaner and more sustainable activity. 🚀 Thrilled to be part of the 24th edition of the Space Resources Roundtable, taking place this week in Golden Colorado, organised by the Colorado School of Mines.   On the first day of the conference, Kathryn Hadler, director of the European Space Resources Innovation Centre (ESRIC) will share the latest on European space resources activities, while Lari Cujko, start-up support programme lead will focus on ESRIC's commercialization initiatives, putting a particular spotlight on the fifth call for applications.   🌚 On day three, Dennis Harries, geochemist specialised in astromaterials will give a talk dedicated to water resources on the Moon and Mars. 🔍 Discover the programme here: https://lnkd.in/daBSMgek   Looking forward to an engaging discussion!
