To deliver the best service possible for our clients, we at Alter Domus think it's essential that we understand the economics, trends, and developments of the markets our clients operate in. As follow up to our January outlooks, we've now produced a mid-year review of the performance of private equity, private debt, and real assets. Read our analysis to find out what to watch for as H2 unfolds.
With June behind us already we ask, “What is the state of play for alternative assets in 2024?”. Our sector heads Tim Toska (Private Equity), Greg Myers (Private Debt) and Anita Lyse (Real Assets), give their first-half reviews as well look ahead at potential game plans for the second half of the year. Our very own Ned Siegel, Michael Dombai and Elizabeth Heil recently attended Information Management Network (IMN)’s 24th Annual US Real Estate Opportunity & Private Fund Investing Forum in beautiful Newport, RI. Perhaps unsurprisingly, private credit in the real estate sector was a recurring theme throughout the forum. More specifically, Ned spoke on a panel called, “Fund admin & reporting Eye Openers & Surprises”. Amongst other things, he set out the keys to a successful fund administration transition – from “in-house” or from another administrator- as well as insights into how co-sourcing arrangements typically work. Michael spoke on a panel about how to transition from an emerging to an established fund manager. He addressed some of the growing pains we have supported clients through as they start their second and subsequent funds, including capital raising strategies, reporting requirements, new compliance considerations and the need for increased investor transparency. Find out more about how we help guide clients through significant strategic operating model decisions and more here. https://lnkd.in/euyv4ka6
