On August 21st, our KLAIPĖDOS MEDIENA factory, part of the VMG Group, opened its doors to the public for the first time! 🚪 🎉 We’re thrilled to share that the “OPEN INDUSTRY” event saw nearly 300 registrations! This strong interest underscores the value and appeal of such events, both as an engaging and educational experience for the community and as a promising opportunity for potential employees to connect and explore new possibilities. 🤩 📢 The event aimed to showcase our company culture and working environment by opening our factory doors to the public. We believe that these immersive experiences will help the community better understand the operations of VMG Group and attract new talent to our KLAIPĖDOS MEDIENA factory. ⚡️ Creating Value for the Lithuanian Economy with Our Partners ⚡️ By mid-next year, a €41 million, 29.5 MW wind farm will rise in the Akmenė district. The green energy generated by the five wind turbines, each with a capacity of 5.9 MW, will not only supply us but also power other companies operating within the Akmenė FEZ. Most importantly, once operational, the wind farm will reduce CO2 emissions in Akmenė by an impressive 30-40% 🌱. This will significantly contribute to Akmenė FEZ's goal of becoming the first climate-neutral economic zone in Lithuania, leading in sustainable development and green innovation. The wind turbine project in Akmenė FEZ is being implemented by our group company, VMG Energy, in collaboration with the asset management firm BRAITIN. The project has attracted significant interest, with contributions from 20 investors. In addition to the investors' funds, a €28.7 million loan from Šiaulių Bankas will be used for the construction of the park. We extend our gratitude to all our partners and investors for their support of this project. VMG Group stood out at the "Dragon" boat races! 🚣♂️🌊 On Saturday, the VMG Group team successfully participated in the sixth traditional "Dragon Boat Races 2024" held on the Danė River in Klaipėda! 🐉 Among 42 strong competitors, the joint team of VMG Group employees demonstrated excellent preparation and experience, allowing them to choose the most suitable strategy and cover almost 500 meters in 2 minutes and 45 seconds 👏 Although Neptune smiled more on other teams this time, we are proud of our employees who revealed true team spirit, determination, support, and achieved a great result together. 🎉 Such achievements remind us that we are more than just a team – we are a united force that inspires and supports each other every step of the way. 🌟🤝

🛠️ On June 12-13, the VMG Group's factories in Akmenė LEZ hosted the exclusive "ATVIRA PRAMONĖ" event. Over 200 curious visitors seized the unique opportunity to witness the impressive technologies and innovative solutions in our factories. 👷♂️👷♀️ Visitors traveled not only from Akmenė but also from Šiauliai, Klaipėda, Kaunas, Skuodas, and Mažeikiai to tour the VMG Group's facilities. Accompanied by the factory managers and employees, they explored our working environment and observed our daily operations firsthand. 💬 We were thrilled to receive positive feedback from the event participants, both during the event and via social media and personal messages. These appreciative responses underscore the significance of this tradition and highlight the valuable experience it provides, uniting us all. 🚀 The goal of the “ATVIRA PRAMONĖ” event is to present the backstage of our factories and showcase our company culture and working conditions. We believe that such immersive experiences will help public to learn more about the role of VMG Group companies and attract new talents to the Akmenė LEZ factories.

The final event of Ukreate Hub wrapped up an amazing three-month entrepreneurial program in Vilnius, dedicated to empowering Ukrainian women who have resettled in Lithuania. 👩🏫 👩🎓 We at VMG Group are thrilled to have played a part in this initiative, helping participants gain the knowledge, skills, and networks they need to turn their business ideas into reality. A special highlight for us was having our board member, Esfira Zaslavskaite, serve as a jury member for the final business pitching event. At VMG Group, we are passionate about supporting new business ideas and talents, especially now, when Ukrainian women need both support and encouragement. This program is a crucial step towards helping these aspiring entrepreneurs build sustainable futures. Meaningful partnerships creating significant value 🌟 VMG Technics engineers once again immersed themselves in a project with Baltic Gymnasium students, resulting in great success! The solar light tracking robot "SunWax" developed by engineers and students advanced to the finals and was named one of the top three! 🏆 The team designed a robot that helps beekeepers clean old wax, allowing it to be reused. 🐝 VMG Technics employees guided students through entire process, from market study to the robot's design, construction, and programming. Engineers were honoured as "Mentor of the Year" by the Baltic Gymnasium community for their dedication to student education and encouragement. ☺️ We are proud of our outstanding employees and glad that meaningful partnerships allow us to establish community bonds and motivate young people to confidently pursue engineering careers in the future. 🙌
