U-Space Conference 2024 Recap! 🌍 This September, we successfully hosted our second U-Space conference, bringing together a European audience with representatives from 22 countries! We are proud to have organized an event of such international significance, helping position Lithuania at the forefront of U-Space system implementation. With Lithuania advancing toward full-scale U-Space deployment, our leadership is already recognized by key stakeholders in the U-Space network. We are committed to creating the best conditions for the drone industry to thrive and ensuring all drone pilots can operate safely and efficiently in our airspace. While implementing such a complex system, we face numerous challenges—from integrating new technologies to aligning regulations and ensuring safety in an increasingly dynamic airspace. We are tackling these issues proactively at every stage of development. ✅ At ORO NAVIGACIJA, we embark on ambitious projects like U-Space because we believe that setting big goals and working step by step with our dedicated teams and partners leads to real progress. Strengthening ties with key partners 🤝  Our leadership team Saulius Batavicius, Inga Jankunaite, and Tomas Montvila have met with the air navigation service providers from Poland and Ukraine in Lviv. The central theme of the meeting was the bilateral cooperation and reestablishment of aviation operations within the Ukrainian airspace. It was beneficial to hear directly from Andriy Yarmak, Director of the Ukrainain State Air Traffic Services Enterprise, who outlined the roadmap for the most imminent steps.  Training for air traffic controllers, support in intergovernmental organizations, and strategic projects were also discussed in detail. ✅ Knowledge and experience sharing culminated during the visit to the Lviv airport, where the group delved into crisis management strategies and a master plan to renew activities.  #ON team thanks the hosts for a well-balanced agenda and hospitality. #ON - opportunities without borders! ✈️ Based on the agreement we have with HungaroControl - Hungarian Air Navigation Services, our Air Traffic Controllers can participate in the professional exchange program. Colleagues are the first ones to try this experience. In their curriculum: ✔️ Learning the procedures to control the KFOR (Kosovo) airspace remotely.  ✔️ Exploring the best practices of our Hungarian counterparts.  ✔️ Getting immersed into the local culture. Both Ligita and Laura share that their long-term passion for aviation comes from being able to solve complex situations. We are confident that such international experience and work with the latest technologies will equip them to deal with any challenges. #ON General Manager Saulius Batavicius and Head of Innovation and Development Inga Jankunaite participate in #CANSO Global ATM Summit 2024 and the 28th annual general meeting. ✈️ Industry leaders have gathered in Baku, Azerbaijan, to discuss the latest technologies, the sector’s contribution to the environment, effective processes, and the increasing importance of partnerships. Such meetings provide a great platform to share best practices, participate in decision-making, and raise the bar for industry standards. Yesterday we had the pleasure of hosting the meeting with our #BalticFAB partner – Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PANSA). Together we recognise the invaluable benefits of the cooperation and the need to focus on its practical aspects, including the pilot project on regional contingency arrangements, the #iTEC alliance activities, the DEVICE DSD which will industrialise the early version of the #iTECSkyNex platform, the consolidation of virtual centres and delegation technologies, regional engagement, including support to our Ukrainian partners, calibration services, and a common voice on international platforms. 

Miškų sodinimo iniciatyva jau tapo kasmetine tradicija. VĮ Valstybinių miškų urėdija ir Valdymo koordinavimo centras / Governance Coordination Centre kasmet įkvepia ir suburia valstybės valdomų įmonių aukščiausio lygmens vadovus ir valdybų narius bendram tikslui – miškų išsaugojimui. Praėjusią savaitę ORO NAVIGACIJA kolegos Saulius Batavicius, Inga Jankunaite, Jelena Izmailovic, Jurate Stanisauskiene, Mantas Šukevičius drauge su kolegomis prisidėjo prie šalies miškų atkūrimo ir pasodino 2,5 ha eglių ir beržų sodmenų Žeronių girininkijoje, Rūdiškėse, Trakų rajone. Tikime, kad mūsų pasodinti medžiai augs ir gražiai žaliuos ilgus šimtmečius! Kartu pasodinti medžiai taps ne tik simboliniu ženklu, bet ir gyvu prisiminimu apie mūsų visų meilę gamtai, prisidedant prie klimato kaitos mažinimo.

Air traffic surveillance in Lithuania will reach new heights! We are proud to announce our partnership with Era a.s., which is taking an important step forward in aviation technology with the implementation of a new Wide Area Multilateration System (#WAM). #WAM Lithuania is designed to cover the entire Lithuanian airspace and therefore solve the secondary surveillance coverage requirements. This project is one of the highest priorities for Lithuania, in order to reach a new level of quality in air traffic surveillance. We value long-lasting experience of Era a.s., as well as their expertise in implementing WAM system projects in other countries.
