Vilnius' birthday is upon us🎂! Celebrate at the "As Young As Vilnius" free outdoor festival on July 25th in Vingis Park. Don’t be a stranger – pop in! Everyone will find something interesting to enjoy: from classical music to a performance by pop queen Rita Ora, activities for children, and recycled trash (literally) installations. All the info: https://lnkd.in/gTkHjmdp.

You know how Sabrina Carpenter sang: “I am working late ‘cause I am a chef. I am working weekends and holidays as well.” (Or something like that). Let’s be real - the gastro world isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. Running a restaurant is a tough job. We often don’t realize how much work, skill, and time it takes to create not only delicious but also stunning dishes. It requires a lot of coordination and cooperation from everyone in the kitchen, from the head chef to the cleaning staff, so we can relax and enjoy a seamless dining experience, savouring each bite as if it were effortlessly crafted. Exploring new dishes, flavours, and techniques has become a big part of our culture, but we often forget to appreciate the people who make these experiences possible. Today, we celebrate the entire culinary scene in Vilnius and Lithuania, and we say THANK YOU VERY MUCH! We are proud to announce that today Michelin Guide Lithuania 2024 has been published. Young Chef Award and Michelin Star: Tadas Eidukevičius Demo Michelin Star: Džiaugsmas Michelin Star: Nineteen18 Michelin Star: Pas Mus Michelin Green Star: Red Brick Bib Gourmand Award: 14 Horses, Le Travi, Gaspar’s, Numan Service Award: Gaspar Fernandes (Gaspar’s) Sommelier Award: Kamilė Bartusevičiūtė (Pacai) Recommended: Amandus, Augustin, Da Antonio, Dine, Elven, Ertlio Namas, Fabrikėlis, Farmer & The Ocean, Gastronomika, HeJi, Justa Pasta, Momo Grill, Pacai, Protėviai, Somm, Stebuklai, Stikliai, Telegrafas, DIA, Uoksas, Monte Pacis, Arrivee, Monai, Apvalaus Stalo Klubas, Vila Komoda, Red Brick.

Dear Riga, Vilnius never sleeps, and šaltibarščiai belongs to Lithuania!
-
Guys! We need your help ASAP! Riga just roasted us, like really bad. We are looking for a rapper for tomorrow's Vilnius Pink Soup Fest. THIS IS SERIOUS!
-
Attraction. Let us introduce Gytis – the world's nicest, cutest, coolest šaltibarščiai fan in Vilnius and the whole of Lithuania. And Gytis presents the official Vilnius Pink Soup Fest souvenirs! Enjoy! Can't wait to see you all tomorrow at Vilnius Pink Soup Fest!!! P. S. The Pink Soup Car, a.k.a. šaltekmobilis, is not for sale, nor is Gytis! 📷 AHOY

We're thrilled and thankful that "Once in Vilnius" app has gained international recognition, winning an award in the "Web Apps" category at this year's WorldMediaFestivals! What does it mean to live in Vilnius? 👀 What stories does the city whisper to its people every day? To celebrate our capital's 700th birthday last year, a project called “Once in Vilnius” invited every resident and visitor to join in the magic of filmmaking. From romantic moments and everyday beauty to quirky situations and hidden gems, everyone was asked to capture Vilnius through their eyes. These unique perspectives came together to create a collective film. 🎬 Here are some of the most memorable moments people have uploaded to the "Once in Vilnius" app. Which ones have stuck with you the most? 💕
