🎉 That's a wrap on our third face-to-face partner meeting and our first Review meeting! We had a great 2-day meeting, hosted by the wonderful Università di Trento, with special thanks to Simone Bocca & Fausto Giunchiglia for being such gracious organisers. Day one saw group discussions, analysing everything we had worked on, discussing our findings and troubleshooting any challenges we have faced. Haven't not seen each other face-to-face since May, conversation was certainly flowing! Day two saw our first review meeting, where we got to meet our Project Officer, Giuseppina Lauritano, and technical expert Elizabeth Zudor. We went through all of our work packages, discussing our progress and answering all questions. We also saw the first demonstration of the JIDEP platform, which was a great indicator to to see how far we have come. Officially half way through the project, the next 18 months will be crucial to the project - follow for more updates. This project is funded by Horizon Europe, Grant Agreement Number: 101058732. EU Defence Ministers agree to prioritise 22 military capabilities to bolster European armed forces. Today, at the Steering Board of the European Defence Agency (EDA), the 27 EU Ministers of Defence approved the 2023 EU Capability Development Priorities. The document serves as a baseline for EU-wide defence planning, and all EU defence-related initiatives. The 22 priorities reflect the military realities observed in Ukraine; support EU defence objectives; and are designed to lead to concrete projects. The twenty-two priorities agreed today address the need for full-spectrum defence #capabilities, enabling high-intensity #operations.
