Installing the command-line executable

Assuming you have Rust/Cargo installed, run this command in a terminal:

cargo install ext_count

It will make the ext_count command available in your PATH if you"ve allowed the PATH to be modified when installing Rust. cargo uninstall ext_count uninstalls.

`ext_count`

A very basic CLI tool to summarize file extensions and best-guess content types.

Help

Counts files by extension and displays MIME types

Usage: ext_count [DIRECTORY]

Arguments:
  [DIRECTORY]  Sets the working directory. Defaults to current directory if not set. [default: .]

Options:
  -h, --help     Print help
  -V, --version  Print version
