Adding `dotenv_plus` library as a dependency

Run this command in a terminal, in your project"s directory:

cargo add dotenv_plus

To add it manually, edit your project"s Cargo.toml file and add to the [dependencies] section:

dotenv_plus = "0.4.0"

The dotenv_plus library will be automatically available globally. Read the dotenv_plus library documentation.

Quick Start

Initialize the environment variables and get different variables with the following code:

use dotenv_plus::{
    env::DotEnv,
    common::get_rust_env,
    var::{set_var, var},
};

DotEnv::new().done();
assert_eq!(get_rust_env(), "development");
set_var("key", "value");
assert_eq!(var("key"), "value");
