Far North
Far North is a sandbox co-op procedural open world survival game with changing seasons.
Set in the deep North your survival depends solely on your ability to thrive.
Build and expand settlements in order to brave through the changing seasons ranging from beautiful summer days to fierce winter nights.
Venture through alluring and treacherous terrain where you explore and harvest resources used for crafting new clothes, tools, structures and more.
Survive the changing seasons
Experience the wilderness with four beautifully crafted seasons and the unique challenges that come with them. Out here you'll be tracking your Hunger, Thirst, Stamina, and Temperature as you struggle to balance resources with the energy needed to obtain them. Find food, upgrade your settlement, stock up on supplies and craft new clothing. Preparation is key here in order to survive the game-altering seasons. Every decision you make will have a direct impact on your life, so be careful because that decision might just be your last.
Explore the North
Nature is calling, the diverse terrain and its inhabitants are beatiful but dangerous. Utilize all that nature has to offer by harvesting resources wherever you can find them but beware of the wild life and weather. A long journey into the wild can spell the end of you if you don't come prepared.
Build and expand your settlements
Expand your simple settlement into a beautiful farm! Domesticate animals, grow crops, start an orchard and more! Challenge your architectural skills by building to survive the elements in style.
Improve your character
Your character is unique. Go from a beginner to a master of cooking, wood cutting, farming, exploring and much more as you shape your own journey!

this game needs to add a FPS limiter my GPU is 98% usage and full speed on the fans speed at the main menu also after like 20 minutes the game crashed from to much FPS lol i am running a 3090 by the way, look forward to a update so i can play
Sorry to hear that! I just mentioned this in another post too but when I finish the new networking solution I'll try to add a limiter! Thanks for trying it out and sorry for the fps overload :)
would like to try your game, but my graphics drivers crash (and eventually BSOD) from gpu load (probably getting wonderful fps till it's a problem) please incorperate a fps limiter with a standard default of 60 for instance going to "unlimited" as it currently is.
look forward to revisiting when clicking host doesn't crash all gpu related processes and bluescreens my system
yeah i second this would like to see a 60- 100 -120- 144- 240 FPS cap would help my game not to crash lol

Sorry for the slow response, I am currently reworking the entire networking solution, this will hopefully improve the multiplayer issues some are experiencing!

Oh, that's unfortunate... But I guess I can check if anything happens next year or so, for now I'll focus on following other games. And thanks for replying :)

Ive been in the loading screen for over 20 minutes what is going on
Hey i think it looks very good but we just couldnt play as a group together cause the game never loads to the end when u have a Multiplayer Session started ( The loadingscreen never disappears) otherwise Great Game with lot of potential! <3
This game has so much potential. If you fix some of the bugs and do some optimization it will be best
THIS GAME IS SO BUGGY IT IS CRAZY. I MADE MY ACC JUST TO HATE ON THIS GAME AND I'M HERE NOW. FOR SOME ODD AND DUMB REASON I'M UNABLE TO LIGHT A FIRE, EVERYTIME I DO I GET STUCK INTO PLACE AND DIE. I CAN'T EVEN SLEEP IN PEACE, NOT ONLY THAT YOU GUYS NEED TO MAKE THISTLES MORE COMMON! PLEASE I CAN'T STAND WAITING FOR 30 MINS LOOKING FOR SOMETHING THAT SHOULD BE AS COMMON AS MUSHROOMS. IF THE GAME-CREATORS WERE ACTUALLY COMPETENT THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO UNDERSTAND HOW TO MAKE AN ENJOYABLE GAME!!!!
Wow, how are you this much of a loser that you create a whole ass account just to slander indie game developers? I can definitely smell the stench of your chair-seat while you wrote this. These creators have a lot of potential. Sure, there are a lot of bugs in the game they need to fix but it's in Pre-Alpha dumbass. Overall, the game has pretty good sound effects that leave my tissue box and lotion empty, the meteor shower event was absolutely stunning. Far North is great and I'm looking forward to future updates!
Sorry to hear about your frustration! Indeed the game has plenty of bugs. Unfortunately some are more severe and game breaking than others! Like clearly stated in the disclaimer we are in pre-alpha and there will be plenty of bugs, missing content and placeholder stuff :) We are working hard to fix many of the already reported bugs and will be balancing the game more as time progress. Thank you for taking the time to play the game and we hope you will enjoy the experience more in the future :)
