Zerzan Theodori Adorno conceptum dialecticae negativae sumpsit, ut rationem civilizationis ut cumulativa alienationis constructio componeret. Secundum Zerzan, societates primae temporibus palaeolithicis viventes, necnon societates nostrae aetatis eis similes ut puta populi !Kung, San, Mbuti, vitam sine alienatione aut oppressione, et in satiate primitiva et naturae proximitate degerunt. Zerzan has societates quasi politice summmas ostendit, aut saltem collationem instructivam contra quam societates contemporaneas (praesertim industriales) possimus deferre, quam ad rem studiis anthropologicis harum societatum utitur. Ex quo latam vitae hodiernae criticam componit. Societates contemporaneas ut mundum miseriae, e productione psychologica sensús paucitatis et inopiae effectae, depingit.[1]
