Icari casus, e fabula Ovidiana depictus,[1] fuit tabula quam Petrus Bruegel senior circa annum 1558 creavisse censetur, cuius exemplar, ab alio quodam pigmentis oleis annis 1560-1570 refectum, nobis servatur. Quae pictura Bruxellis in Regiis Museis Belgicis ostenditur; ibi iacens in duabus carminibus recentioribus descripta est, Wystani Auden "Musée des Beaux Arts" et Gulielmi Caroli Williams "Landscape with the Fall of Icarus".
