Every child deserves a Miss Alina! Smakotina Alina is more than just a science teacher—she's a life-changer. Aman, a student with cerebral palsy, once saw learning as impossible until Miss Alina stepped in. She made science fun by using his favorite comics to explain lessons and showed genuine care for his thoughts and dreams. One day, after class, Aman decided to walk her to the door by himself, something he’d never done alone. Instead of pity, she offered a calm, supportive smile, making him feel like any other child. Aman’s story shows just how important it is to believe in every child, no matter their challenges. Support and attention from adults can be life-changing. Now, Aman strives to inspire others, proving that with belief in yourself, any obstacle can be overcome. Thanks to Miss Alina, Aman learned not only science but also that he matters. She reminds us that with the right teacher, every child can thrive. You also can become a role model for children in different regions of Kazakhstan. TFQ is a way to achieve that goal. 📍 Teach For Qazaqstan Team Successfully Completes Assessment Training! Our team has just completed comprehensive training on assessment techniques, including competency-based evaluations. The training was conducted by Elena Baryshnikova, one of the top HR and assessment coaches in the CIS region. Elena Baryshnikova provided #valuableinsights, #practicalexercises, and #expertguidance to sharpen our skills. During the training, we had the opportunity to practice real-life assessment exercises, conduct competency interviews, and receive constructive feedback. We also learned how to be effective observers, deliver clear and objective evaluations, and, most importantly, gained hands-on experience that will elevate our selection process. n late August, Gulnur Zhassekenova and Adiya Konysbekova from Recruiting & Selection team at Teach for Qazaqstan visited our partners Teach For Malaysia for an insightful and productive trip.  During the visit, they had the opportunity to explore various aspects of the program and participate in key events such as a #careerfair and an #employerappreciationday at one of Malaysia’s top universities. These events showcased valuable strategies for partner engagement and recruitment. Gulnur and Adiya had the chance to ask important questions about recruitment into the program, development plans, and different techniques to attract new talent. They also discussed alternative opportunities for young specialists who may not be able to join the program directly.  The trip allowed them to build stronger relationships with colleagues, exchange ideas, and gain fresh perspectives.
