Hyundai’s XCIENT Fuel Cell trucks cover a record 10 million kilometers of total distance in Switzerland   This achievement for the XCIENT Fuel Cell truck, a catalyst for the expansion of Hyundai’s hydrogen value chain business, is a testament to its world-class hydrogen fuel cell technology and long-term reliability.   XCIENT Fuel Cell trucks are deployed in 10 countries worldwide owing to their reliability and eco-friendliness. Since their deployment in Switzerland in October 2020, the volume of reduced carbon emissions in the country is roughly equivalent to planting 5 million square meters of pine forest compared to a fleet of diesel trucks. We are excited to share that Hyundai was recently awarded the ‘Hydrogen Innovation Leadership Award 2024’ in Dubai.   Nabil Nachi, Hyundai’s Head of MEA Commercial Vehicle New Business, received the prestigious award at Connecting Green Hydrogen MENA 2024 in Dubai. This award recognizes companies that have demonstrated exceptional leadership, creativity, and impact in driving innovation within the hydrogen industry.   Hyundai is at the forefront of the decarbonization movement in the Middle East, leveraging its pioneering hydrogen and fuel cell technologies.
