🍎🍊🍋🍐🫐 Our team recently attended the Asia Fruit Logistica 2024, held from September 4-6 at the Asia World Expo in Hong Kong. As Asia's largest fruit and vegetable trade show, this year's event featured over 600 companies from 38 countries, including exporters, importers, NVOs, shipping lines, etc. Following our successful participation last year, we returned with representatives from both our headquarters and key overseas branches to network and engage with major clients. They saw strong interest in our new equipment, service coverage, and IoT services, particularly from those in the citrus and cherry shipping sectors and customers requiring Cold Treatment for high-value products. Our participation was a great success, with many productive discussions around upcoming peak season shipments and innovative solutions we offer. Our MPV vessels set sail across the vast ocean!   Multi-purpose vessels are designed for flexibility and can carry a wide variety of cargo, from oversized specialized cargo to container boxes. To address the market's capacity shortage, HMM began deploying extra loaders in June, starting with the H.Forward on the U.S. West Coast route.   Recently, H.Masan departed from Busan, loaded with approximately 1,300 TEU of container boxes, en route to Savannah on the U.S. East Coast. HMM Dhaka has been newly dressed with low-friction antifouling paint! When vessels experience fouling—such as algae, barnacles, and seaweed sticking to the hull—hull resistance increases, leading to higher fuel consumption to maintain speed. This, in turn, results in elevated greenhouse gas emissions. The paint we applied this time enhances the prevention of fouling, which gives us a better chance to reduce fuel use and, ultimately, lower greenhouse gas emissions.
