Hello, I have encountered a problem, though it might be only me, so basically when I try to walk Evie home from the bike stop my game crashes. Is it only me?
The new chapter! Yes!! I am so excited! I am super hyped to see what this new chapter brings! I can't believe I'm so hyped for an H-game. Haha, it just goes to show how well you've done!
I accidentally lost my save for the game, so I was replaying it, and it made me remember how crazy the story is. In my head I'm thinking all about the H-events then get caught off guard from the story! "I was horny but now I'm just sad!!" just wanted to give them all a hug when they saw each other again! haha but anyways... can't wait to give the new chapter a go.
Man just spent about 7 hours straight playing. That was a loooong prologue lol enjoyed it though.
Do you plan on revisiting some renders you've already done? I noticed that Fara's first reverse cowboy scene was a little janky. Might just be the android version.
Will you also be going through to fix up typos? I'm assuming your discord server probably has a channel for reporting it lol

Hello Komisari. I'm not sure if you already have the help you need from artists. I can try to help as I'm an inspired artist. What is the best way to reach you directly to show you my work if you're interested? I usually draw landscapes, anime characters, animals, etc but nothing is stopping me from trying to help with symbols, item icons, and stuff like that. Looks like you need all the help you can get with this project. I await your answer.
I want to say WoW, just wow, first time i played this game and i feel that this might become something amazing, I am fully in love with how you did everything.
You are literally immersed into the world, like for me a good story doesnt exclude H scenes, it simply makes it more real, meaningful. After several hours of gameplay Komisari, i am literaly following and giving this game a 5 star rating.
For me atleast, i dig drama, like alot. But for me to be fully immersed into dramatic situations ( this is subjective but mabye it might give you some ideas ) , Lore is what makes the dramatic moments really hit, background stories of the characters and how we interact with them.
The comedy is top notch '' :) '' nothing more, came for chicks stayed for Jimmy.
One thing i would really hope to see is a more impactful character development as in the story and the events that happen weather H or Drama moments, to even changes in the world itself. ( yes for an H game it sounds like im turning it into something else, but i got so into it that i am really imagining it how it would turn out with those extra plots )
Oh and last but not least, im curious if the Hero will eventualy grow stronger ( not like the heroins but more like hey ya aint a farmer anymore time to git gud n get some gainz with Jimmy )
I want to see how well this evolves because i am already really invested into seeing how the story goes and i hope that this will become a finished product with who knows mabye sequels, and I am heavily considering becoming a patreon to you.

Some people might think that the Hero will be protected by the girls, but that's not the case. The Hero started out as just a carrier, but he has dealt with a lot. You'll see him gradually evolve, face tough decisions, and make real sacrifices.
That is what I was Really hoping to hear! can't wait to see how the story evolves and I cant wait to see those decisions and sacrifices he will have to do!
And i hope that mabye the Player will decide ( as in mabye 2 or 3 decisions that change the outcome ) mainly because it will give a nice replayability feel to it!
However you choose i support it ! i hope that in time i can relay usefull feedback on the story so that I can mabye inspire you or give some ideas on the story, cuz i am a damn sucker for good drama/romance and character/world building.
A shame, however i will be expecting what you promised! , that was merely a suggestion , besides the headpats i needed more ways to replay it :)
However I wont lose hope, i will be awaiting the next huge update and see how it went, and as i said about how i feel on how this game will become, i am fully conviced that after you drop that update, I will become your Patreon.

I think it's safe to say that this game is dead. Because I have been waiting for a major update for almost 3 years now and all I got was a side story update.
This game is really funny :) BUT the size is insane ^.^ You can save plenty of Gigabytes, if you start using layers, and composite images (i was curious and extracted your images to see, what was going on there). Most scenes use the very same background, and only a tiny area changes, where a character stands, or even just blinks with his eyes. So instead of making a full sized color image for every little change, you can render out the background image, and then use masks for the characters, so that you can add them as a new layer ontop of the background image. If you want see a game, that uses this method to save a lot on diskspace, then you can take a look at "Welcum to the city", and how its images are split, and get combined in the game for the final image. :)
I could definitely do that, but in Chapter 1, for instance, I switch between cameras quite often. This would inevitably slow down both the workflow and the pace of development even further XD.
Plus, the backgrounds cast shadows on the characters, and if I remove the backgrounds to export PNGs of the characters, they’d lose those shadows. The only alternative would be to manually cut them out in Photoshop, which is definitely not ideal.
I say this from experience—I've tried it before XD
Doesn´t Photoshop has those "Difference" filters, that show you the difference between the background layer and the next layer in colors? Black areas are then the same color as the background = no change, and every color other than black is a different color than the background has (and this would catch shadows too). I just have Krita, and there they exist too, but my lack of XP with Krita hinders me in converting this difference layer then to a simple black and white filter mask, that you could use as to cut out the affected area for overlays. But if you render out the pure background images, that you know will be used more often, then you could use them against those scenes, where different chars appear, and the diference layer should automatically give you the affected area, which you could use for overlays.
An example image of Kritas Difference filter at work:
Ok, after some trial and error, i even found a combination of filters, that allow Krita automatically to create those masks for me - as in, i just need to drag in a background image and the image, i want to get the difference as an overlay, and it now automatically cuts out this area (thanks to the difference filter as fist step), then a recoloring filter recolors those differences to a black and white mask, then a clone of the image from which i want the difference is multiplied with that black and white mask, to get the color of this area, and the rest stays pure black. And the last step was just a filter to convert a defined color (black in my case) to transparency. or maybe change the order, so that you already convert the black and white mask to transparent and white, then multiply that with the color - that way even black in the difference will be kept and not accidently converted to transparency. Now its just dragging in images and saving the result as a new overlay for background images. I have tested it with some of your images, all in all was able to reduce the size by half for those, granted that i had no clean backgorund and needed to cover old chars too. Your biggest problem is, that many images do indeed have slight camera movements, which ruin this, but there are still enough images, where just the chars poses change (and some anti aliasing "errors"), for which this still can make a significant difference.
I wish more of the little indie devs making games here on Itch would make use of Trello like you are. It is nice to watch the progress and know the game isn't abandoned, even when there isn't anything important to announce.

This was one of my first entries into the genre and I'm really looking forward to the update. I would like to know the ETA, but if it's not in a state that would justify sticking a completion date tag onto, I understand.
As for the ETA, pretty sure there isn't one, and I know there was a little roadblock about a month ago with the developer being sick.

As for what you've been hearing about August, there will be a NEWS post. There was a miscommunication in the dev-questions channel where Komi said there will be something in August. This is a news update not a game update; it will not be anything to download, and no extra content to play."
I'm not an expert so my word isn't gospel, but I think any small announcements would help. People see the last post was over a year ago so they think the game is abandoned, and are less likely to try it or purchase it.
The game does not seem to be working properly for me. When I first downloaded the game I kept getting errors and there not being any music and after getting the first quest there were constant errors but there was still sound effects and after redownloading the game and installing the patch for Mac the errors were gone but the sound effects were gone and the scene turns blank sometimes like after getting the first quest and stays black until it's time to move. It also put me straight into the game the first time instead of the Main Menu.
I wanted to say first off, I have played this on my old laptop and loved the game and content of it so thanks for making a great product. I hope working on this project (and others if you have any) is not taking a huge toll on you. Just hope you rest up and enjoy yourself.
