Visuell sehr schön. allerdings finde ich diese Art von Spiel leider immer doch sehr stark limitiert in dem was man machen kann. prinzipiell erinnert es sehr stark an vergleichbare 2D Survival-Horror Games wie MR. Hops oder neverending Nightmares. Im Kern ist es leider alles sehr ähnlich, hier zeigt auf jedenfall der Artstyle und die Atmosphäre eine neue Facette dieses Genres, spielerisch auch sehr gut, dass man auf die Umgebung und die Augen des Mädchens achten muss, bzw. in etwa hören kann wo sich der scary Grandpa befindet. Gerade was die Akustik betrifft, punktet forgotten house, reiht sich aber sonst eher in ein gediegeneres Horror-Genre ein ohne Mechanisch innovative Elemente.
