Villainous Fucks
A downloadable villainy manual
Villainous Fucks
Villainous Fucks is a tabletop roleplaying game designed for 2-6 players, about doing petty crimes as The League of Villainous Fucks, and ruining the day of Superheroes and Cops alike (and truly what's the difference). Villainous Fucks runs on Spencer Campbells incredible LUMEN System, and is inspired by the best Villains across media. LUMEN is designed for quick, tactical combat, and Villainous Fucks dials it up to 11 for the best in zany comic book style action.
The game includes a flexible Villain maker, with a variety of available abilities, and I'm working currently on chocking it full of old public domain comic art (which takes a while to clean up), but is otherwise good to go pending some minor editing!
Villainous Fucks is rules-lite by design, with a focus on brewing your own powers, weapons, and enemies using the provided chassis! If this isn't your speed, there are some planned expansions for the game already that will contain more abilities, weapon tags, Henches, and lore!
After art and assets are all finalized, I plan to get a limited print run of this game, which will be available on my website.

With a title like that, it's impossible not to play. The cover art is stellar. This a great example of modifying pre-existing art and making it better than it was before. I would have liked to see more of that dynamic manipulation in the comic book-style frames—but ultimately, it doesn't matter. It's a game about doing crime. A task my fictional personas are more than happy to take up.
⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 (But I'm puttin' 5 on that big 'ole rating button)
Picked up without hesitation because of the title, leaving this review because the game itself is a ton of fun. A bit tongue in cheek, but not without space to maneuver and tell heartfelt stories. If you like Doctor Horrible's Sing-Along-Blog, Secret Six by Gail Simone, or just want to be a fun bunch of assholes, this game is for you. Layout is a ton of fun too.

This game fucks.
The comic book panel layout is perfectly executed. It drives home the theme, but also does a killer job of organizing info. Big brain stuff. The early access makes great use of old pulp comic art, and I'm excited to see what the final version looks like.
The game has some awesome tweaks on the LUMEN engine to amp up the consequences, but balances it by giving the players lots of tricks to let their villains return to fight another day.
The provided heroes and plot hooks are tightly written, and go a long way in establishing an over-the-top setting of 1950s comic book action turned on its head. I'm pumped to see additional material to flesh out Metro City!
I appreciate this so much! Thank you!!
