On Monday 22/4/2024, Boma International Hospitality College, Switch Media Kenya, and KCB Foundation joined forces in a groundbreaking partnership to empower youth and women in Kenya's hospitality and digital media sectors. Under the leadership of Ms. Menji Njonjo – KCB Foundation Director, and Dr. Abbas Gullet – BIHC & Switch Media Director, our collaboration aims to expand educational and employment access opportunities by providing the right and adaptive skills for today’s evolving economies. This mission will be achieved through funded training for upskilling talent in hospitality or media as well as offering MSMEs in the same spaces access to mentorships, incubations and boot camps. Together, we're committed to achieving SDG Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by implementing a Dual Vocational Apprenticeship Approach and the Recognition of Prior Learning Framework designed by our award winning Research Arm that we believe will form the will form the center stage of driving this vision to success.
