As part of the secretariat and organizing team, Jesse Kihuha and Dennis Menya represented Catholic Medical Mission Board- Kenya (cmmb) at yesterday's health CSO engagement breakfast meeting with the national assembly's health committee at the Fairmont Norfolk Hotel to advocate for the enhancement in health financing, including progressive budgetary allocations and policy gaps hindering universal health coverage to address health needs in our communities. For over 20 years, cmmb has focused on improving health systems at the community and facility levels in Kenya to improve access to maternal and child health services, prevent and treat malaria, tuberculosis, breast, and cervical cancer, eliminate mother-to-child HIV transmission, provide access to clean and safe drinking water, and strengthen household economics. #CMMBKenya #UniversalHealthCoverage #HealthierLivesWorldwide
