Another inspiring event at #UNGA79 - Thank you Atti Worku and Katie Bunten-Wamaru and the team from African Visionary Fund for our partnership to create our 2nd annual great event that lived up to its objective of highlighting stories of local leadership! We got real about the pressures and challenges of funding and growth for social ventures. It was inspiring to hear founding stories from Linda Kamau of AkiraChix, Jacques Sebisaho, MD, MPA of Amani Global Works , Lizzie Kiama of This Ability as well as growth stories from Wawira Njiru of Food For Education and Katumba James S. of Wezesha during our second session. The lessons shared in that room will reach far and wide.
