Uploading the more finished digital pieces from thesis. This stuff is from May, but I never got around to posting it all! I won’t post the entire book, just some of the more interesting pieces of it. I want to finally get around to that webcomic.

WHAT IS THIS? THIS? This? 

This is my final thesis from college; a travel journal written by Suta, about the world of Ovm, where she lives. This book serves as an introduction to the world of Ovm, which I plan to explore in the future through short comics stories that are relatable and explore important lessons in a fun and fantastical setting.

“This book is a fictional travel diary, written by a character named Suta Dziwa, exploring the world of Ovm. Ovm is a fantastical world populated by colorful sentient animals called the manaka; they include the dog-like kaia, the bird-like naea and the reptilian mara. These characters all have their own cultures, history, traditions and standards different from what we know. There are no humans beings in Ovm, and while much of the world is very different and foreign, there are some settings and elements that are familiar to us, as well as stories and experiences that are universal.

Suta – a silly and adventurous kaia — is a resident of this world and is your guide across several lands and cultures, showing you but a small glimpse of what Ovm has to offer. This book is written from her perspective with her thoughts and comments. We hope that you enjoy your journey in our world and return to see more!”

Man, it’s been a while since I uploaded anything, hasn’t it? 

Well, back to school, back to projects. Our first illustration project is to make 4 love stamps that make a whole picture when together. I did two tight sketches because I had two ideas I was interested in; the teacher rejected this one, but I still like it~ Look at all this animal love and friendship
