Every Game Starts with a Prototype

And this is ours.

It may only be a prototype but it is a fully playable one.

There is one complete level which will give you around half an hour of play time. You'll experience the combat, puzzles, character improvement and exploration providing a mere glimpse of what this game will become.

Feedback

We would love to hear any feedback you have about our game. Now that this prototype is complete we're moving into the main project development to make this a fully commercial indie title.

So this is the time to get your voice heard about what you'd like to (or not like to) see in the game.

I quite enjoyed the demo (I died before completing it) and the turn based nature lends itself to VR quite well, provided you take time to look around to stop yourself getting attacked from behind.

My only complaint is the controls, which seem backward (and was almost impossible to get used to); all other games I've played use the left stick for movement and the right for turning. This ended up with me running sideways into walls quite often wasting turns during combat. An option to switch the stick functions around would be useful.

Looks cool but i dont have vr

i got vr

I've finished the demo.

It's too dark for me, I don't like dark.

Turn-based gameplay is very fresh.

I like the idea overall.

Congratulations, this seems to be a very nice game. Unfortunately, it's hardly playable if you only have teleport. Why only teleport?

In addition, I would like to note that your Quest installation batch does not work for most users. It only works if you have installed the android platform tools, which probably less than 1% of the users have done and no one has a folder named "C:/Users/grbap/AppData/Local/Android/Sdk" on their computer except you. For installation you need only 3 files from the platform Tools. I have the batch (both) fixed and added the adb files:

Hi Vince,

Thank you for taking time to comment.

Well that is embarrassing for us. We can’t believe we released the wrong zip. We normally package adb in the zip. It will be corrected immediately.

Also a huge thank you for actually taking time to modify and make available the install script. Very appreciative. Now that’s community support for you!

As for your feedback. When you say unplayable. Would you mind elaborating?

We have two reasons:

1. Our focus is to make an effortless turn-based game. A teleport is tied to your movement distance and ticks your turn. At this point in the project we’re not sure how say real-time smooth movement could work.

2. This is only a prototype and so we did the bare minimum to get it working. We will certainly be expanding the locomotion options once we’ve got into the main project.

Your feedback is invaluable to us, so thank you again for your comment.
