Reports to: Head (Managing Director) of Global Business Intelligence, GBI, Japan - Japan

Intelligence Department, GBI, Japan - Japan

The Role: Lead and support sales and research execution for both practice and sales role in Financial Services/Insurance Practice team in GBI Japan

The Impact: We expect three types of impact as shown below.

• Upgrading the delivery of research outputs of syndicate (industry benchmark) and proprietary researches
• Reinforcing relationship with existing clients and expanding client base through sales activities
• Enhancing brand recognition of JDP in Japan by thought leadership
  
  

Responsibilities

• Reinforcing relationship with existing clients and expanding client base through sales activities
• Data and research analysis of industry benchmark research and proprietary research by J.D. Power to offer insights for clients’ management strategies
• Research about industry, trend of regulation, business strategies by client companies
  
  

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Native level of Japanese and native or advanced business level of English (Min: TOEIC 800 level).
• Logical way of thinking
• Project management skill to lead research project to execute existing benchmark studies or to launch new benchmark studies
• Strong track record in academic experience
• Knowledge and experience to utilize MS word, excel and power point
• Customer focus mindset
• Effective interpersonal, teamwork and organizational skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Career experience in banking, insurance, and/or security industries is plus
• Experience with data and research analysis is plus
• Client-service experience in corporate sales activities is plus
• Demonstrated experience with cross-functional collaboration and influencing
