On May 30, 2024, we celebrated the "UTEC 20th Anniversary" at the University of Tokyo. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a University - four-year Bachelor’s program or a two-year Master’s program, either in Japan or internationally, at the time of application. We encourage applications from those who are internationally minded, ambitious, and have a commitment to science, technology and liberal arts. Students of any academic year, major, or nationality are welcome to apply (The job location will be UTEC offices in Tokyo). We are excited to share that RegCell one of our portfolio companies, appoints experienced life science executive and entrepreneur Michael McCullar, as its new Chief Executive Officer. RegCell is a preclinical-stage biotechnology company located in Japan. RegCell has developed a best-in-class proprietary platform that allows the generation of epigenetically reprogrammed antigen-specific regulatory T-cells (Tregs) that are stable in vivo and maintain a high degree of functionality (S/F-Epigen-Tregs) to restore immune tolerance and ultimately reverse autoimmune disorders as well as the limitations with transplantation.
