Serena Qi, a native of Shanghai in China, started her career in NTT DATA first of all as an assistant to the CEO in China. After a few years of work experience in the Japanese HQ, she returned to Shanghai where she embarked on the latest development in her career, client-facing consulting. Serena is heading up a consulting team that combines technical knowledge and consulting to use cutting edge technology to support client digital transformations. In 2022, her team won the NTT DATA Foresight award for their supply chain planning improvement and Digital Transformation project using AI machine learning to solve the complexity of their client’s issues. Since the beginning of her career at NTT DATA, Serena appreciates lots of supports she has received from her coworkers, managers even up to CEO level for her career opportunity as well as for her transition back to work from her maternity leave.
