📚WaSH Innovation is a Polish SME that designs and produces portable personal hygiene systems. Their mission is to provide a convenient and dignified washing experience in areas with limited access to running water. 🎌Zdzislaw Iwanejko, CEO of WASH Innovation, has leveraged the EU-Japan Centre’s programs to gain key insights into the Japanese market. Through the Get Ready for Japan program, he made valuable connections. Following GRFJ, Mr. Iwanejko joined the 3rd Japan-Africa Business Forum, which led to a collaboration with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and a major Japanese hygiene company for a hand-washing initiative in Africa. 💡He also took part in the World Class Manufacturing 2024 Programme, which offered crucial insights into Kaizen - a Japanese approach focused on continuous, incremental improvement in processes and practices. This knowledge has been instrumental in the ongoing growth of WASH Innovation. 📎Read the fullCase Study here: https://lnkd.in/dp_Xcyj4 #MarketAccess #InvestinEU #EuJapan

The spring session of Get Ready for Japan 2024 ended last Friday after a week of rich and dense programs. Inaugurated with a visit to 伊藤忠商事株式会社, 12 European executives assiduously (in the sweltering heat in Tokyo) participated in seminars on cross-cultural communication between Europeans and Japanese, negotiation in international business, and in a marketing discovery tour of the Shibuya-Harajuku district. They also applied their knowledge and expertise acquired during the program to one-to-one meetings with Japanese companies, a real business battlefield. We mustn't forget the calligraphy course, a bit of relief with the introduction to Japanese culture. At the end of the program, the Team were awarded an official certificate from the 日欧産業協力センター, which proves the completion of all the learning and practical training. Well done to everyone and all the best for your future! See you soon, with your success stories! 👉 Registration now open for GRFJ autumn session! https://lnkd.in/dfYQ-RuW 🎊 Special thanks to: Elza Circene Jurij & Martin Gobec Bogdan Ioan Iuliu Hossu Bruno Lill Petros Masouridis Argiris Mokios Florian Peters Linda Riekstina-Snore Guna Rubene Grzegorz Sienkiewicz Jalal Vakili #EU #Japan #Tokyo #International #Export #BusinessDevelopment #Training #SMEs #GetReadyforJapan European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA)

The 2nd "Get Ready for Japan" onsite session in Tokyo began yesterday with a memorable visit to #ITOCHU Corporation, one of Japan's largest and representative trading companies. 12 European executives in our training program were warmly welcomed by the company. They listened with enthusiasm to the company's presentation: history, organization, worldwide network, business sectors, doing business with Europe, financial matters, and then exchanged views with Mr. Tadashi Sekimoto, General Manager in the Public Relations Department. Thus, they deepened their knowledge about cultural and economic aspects in Japan and acquired professional expertise. We would like to express our tremendous gratitude to ITOCHU Corporation for their kind cooperation. 👉 Registration now open for GRFJ autumn session! https://lnkd.in/dfYQ-RuW 伊藤忠商事株式会社 日欧産業協力センター #EU #Japan #Tokyo #International #Export #BusinessDevelopment #Training #SMEs #GetReadyforJapan
