Yesterday, the #polio vaccination campaign reached over 145,000 children in Khan Younis and Rafah, southern #Gaza, with the vaccine and 119,000 aged 2-10 with supplementary vitamin A to increase their resistance to disease. UNRWA, World Health Organization, UNICEF and partners keep working together to protect children and prevent the spread of the virus.

The #polio vaccination campaign continues today in southern #Gaza. UNRWA, World Health Organization, UNICEF and partners keep working to reach as many children under 10 as possible with the vaccine. Vitamin A doses are also being administered. The agreed-upon humanitarian pauses must be respected and upheld by all parties to the conflict.
