Hi! Thanks for replying. I understand your design decision, and it might work for some players, but I found it hard to follow.
I'd recommend checking out this GDC talk, as it explains the concept better than I can:
It is very hard to distinguish between you, the projectiles and enemies because the contrast and the colors are the same
