I made an after jam update! Tbh I am not sure you will enjoy the controls any more than you did. I just did some minor balancing, tried to introduce them better and messed with the ice physics.

I did an after jam update! It adds all the missing dialogue that shows up in the fixed version, as well as modifying ice's behavior. I already suggested in game full screen I believe. I also did some minor balancing so hopefully you can get further! I didn't fix the fling bug though... no clue what causes it
I made an after jam update! The controls are the same, but I think I might have explained them better in the game. Another tip is to either hold of the controls awhile before turning or hitting brake. This slows your wheels before you turn around. Did some minor balancing, and modified ice physics as well
Impossible to dodge cars at all, I found the best way to play to at least reach the end was to hold w in roughly the middle of the road. Really unique and fun art style, but sometimes you can see it was scanned with weird white dots. And the stretched scale on the background makes it look a little weird. Music is fun and good for the vibe of the game, but a tad repetitive. This game just feels like it needs something more to it over the long ride. The mechanics were interesting, but I am not sure if they are the most enjoyability even after getting used to them. Generally some balancing would help this game a lot. Good job though!
I have no idea how I won, I crashed like at least 50 times. Love to see a GMS2 game, since all my past games were made in it. Some janky physics for sure, but a fun unique cycling race game. Fun art, and fun music too. Nice little game here (I gotta crunch out these last 3 (2 now) games for me to play cya)
Someone said not being able to exit menus, I got out off all of them except credits just fine. Was gonna rate the game higher but then during me playing in fullscreen on browser the game suddenly obtained omega lag. I like the art of what you made, and very impressive amount of stuff given this is your first jam and the time frame. Kinda odd that increasing attack and dodge is mouse clicks when most of the game is keyboard. Very fun idea, and I liked it. When I first entered in I got immediate flash backs to undertale and deltarune lol. Funny story too. Very good job! Also fairly unique and also fairly difficult. Oh yeah, also the bikes don't seem to work differently :/
Can be hard to tell where collisions are sometimes, and my player glitched through a slope once. As well as get teleported down onto a traffic cone. It is a cool idea that I have seen a few times, would have liked more of an original take I think. Trucks can also hide obstacles which is not fun lol. Would have been cool if the different levels had different difficulties, and that the game got more difficult as time went on. Still great job. The art feels like there are 3 styles here kinda. The player's art style, the collectables and slope art style, and other objects art styles are all different which is a bit odd to look at. Would have liked custom music, but it is what it is in a jam. Overall good job, hope to see more from you next time!
Fun little use of the theme. Although the bike is heinous to control it kinda works, just wish it didn't get stuck as much. The camera is my nemesis it shows what IT wants not what I want. Jump pads seem very hard to use, and often flip me upside down or get me stuck so I had to restart. First level right path is the really only not fun struggle, it was a lot of restarting because I got perma stuck. The tap R to flip or straighten rarely worked and even when it did it often didn't right me. It was a fun little story though! Would have liked to see custom assets. Cool game
So here is what I have noticed about the game so far.
Hard to learn / Badly introduced controls
The controls of the game were supposed to be convoluted and reflect a bike more, but it seems no one could catch onto how they work. It is a two speed platformer, having a speed for the wheels and a speed for the bike. While on the ground with traction your wheel speed goes into your bike speed. In the air it doesn't. This is why when you turn after colliding with a wall you speed away, because you had been speeding up your wheels the whole time and not the bike. In these cases using S to brake is essential to the game (Resets wheel speed to 0). While jumping you lose traction, but can still pedal your wheels or brake. But most people either didn't catch onto this, or couldn't get a hang of it. I think adding a UI for you wheel speed, along with a better tutorial for how these mechanics work would help a bit. Along with some balancing
Music bug
A lot of people had trouble with the music bug, luckily it is an easy fix. The music bug was caused by the file that stores the music volume setting it to 0 on start. If you change it with the slider it will fix it, and since volume saves as both a static variable and a player preference it is fixed from then on. This is why I never noticed the issue in testing originally..
Screen Sizing
Although there is a fullscreen button, in the downloaded version canvas doesn't scale making it hard to read. This is already fixed in the fixed version since it was a last minute fix done to the Web version
Some known issues mentioned
Some people mentioned buggy ice, the flinging in the Japan area, and lines in the ground. All of these were known about before someone mentioned them. Well the flinging was discovered next day when I actually play tested the game. Lines are caused by Unity doing weird stuff with Z position and locking to a grid, for the life of me I couldn't be bothered to spend hours trying to fix it all perfectly. Buggy ice is because of how I tried to remove unity's natural friction through a third party gameobject. It was very imperfect and causes a lot of bugs :p
Sudden background changes
This is not a bug, just how I decided with the time to program it, but definitely something that should be polished.
I did good on art and dialogue!
As far as I can tell people did like the little dialogue in the game that worked, and the sprite art. This is very cool since my last submission was called creepy. And pretty much all my games people disliked my art. Hopefully I get at least a 3 in art, and my oopsies didn't wreck this category as collateral
Final thoughts is that I am going to get a lot of 1 stars in fun and game design. Maybe a 3 in audio, I expect the music bug will wreck this category a bit sadly. maybe a 3 in art. 1 or 2 in originality. And maybe at most a 3 in theme. I have no expectations given my past with jams. Still had fun, and learned some unity programming :D
I fell off the mountain... but up until the backdrop disappeared and the ground the game was amazing. I love the art style, and music (Which I assume you made the music since it is uncredited and you marked yes). Only thing I'd mention with the art is the appearance of the head on the player looks kinda creepy. Music wise would have liked menu music. Game wise, sometimes I did sick flips and got reset lol, but overall fun. Not sure why there was a unicycle option, and I never really used it (Only bug was the one mentioned at the start). Not sure if there was actual levels or if it was randomly generated levels. Loved the experience and really gave a retrospective nostalgic feeling. Despite not doing anything crazy with the theme, you used it very very well. And no other game had this vibe. Very very cool game
Give me some health back boss! Odd thing to say, but I kinda think this concept would have been funny if it was atleast half a visual novel, just seems like it would fit the isekai theme more. Otherwise nice little unique game here. Would have also liked to see more use of bike like controls. The art is really fun, and music is nice, sadly I can't see credits so I assume you did this all yourself. The concept is cool and fun, but I need a way to get health back, I somehow no hit beat the golem at 0 heart, and then died by a slime after. Great job!
This game made my monitor scream for some reason. Fun concept and interesting use of theme. Twist of the balancing game concept as well. Overall, too hard for me; Me: "Oh hey I beat the first level!" Slope: "👁👄👁". Music fit the game, but not custom. The art was nice, and game did function well (idk why something in my setup was squealing tho). Cool game
Interesting game, 2nd tower defense I've seen. Both games have had an issue properly incorporating the theme both jump putting the player on a bike with no further thought. I think a lot of menu buttons can be taken out since they don't do anything, and N didn't fullscreen for me I had to use the built in one (Which cut off some of the game). Would have liked the in game menu to have more customization done to it. As for art it looks strange... I can't describe it. Sound is fine I suppose. I think a no hit run would be impossible for this game, I couldn't even beat wave 3. Would have liked to see more towers (Unless they show up later). Overall this game just needs some more work and I think it can be a good game, but not really fit for the jam's theme
I forgot to finish a day... oops. Otherwise I had some troubles, I could go through buildings. And at one point it told me I had picked up both Connor orders when I had picked up none. The Zombies seemed like peaceful pedestrians as well. I liked the concept,. and it is pretty original, but not a big fan of how it was executed. I'd like to see custom graphics and audio in the future (and music please!) because the game looked like a rip off mobile horror game. Maybe go for 2D next time if 3D is too much of a hassle? I am not trying to be mean btw, I am just trying to describe my thoughts on this game. Overall just seemed a bit buggy, and didn't work too well. Pick ups worked and drop offs worked, besides the issue I said earlier. Like to see more from you in the future, I believe you can get a hang of it if you try :D
