Thank you so much. It was a lot of work and I'm proud of what I got done. I haven't touched game dev since. But perhaps I'll come back to it some day.

Yeah even though my game took a huge visual/performance hit in the web version, I still wanted to make my game as widely available and easily accessible as I could to get as much feedback as I could. Some people may not like downloading random projects, or some may only play online, etc. Browser games getting more ratings makes sense to me. Either way, I'm super proud of my first Jam, time using Godot and 3D game ever! Was a really fun experience and found some solid projects full of passion and potential.
Haha nice! You are currently in... 1st place again!
Thank you! I'm super proud to have pulled this off just learning Godot 4 weeks ago. I do have more projects in mind, but I wanted to see if this prototype got good reception, then I would decide to flesh it out into a full game with much more to it.
As soon as I saw your game, I knew I wanted to play it. I streamed all games from this jam and yours was the last one I finally made it to late Sunday night before the deadline. And boy was it a final submission to go out on! Thank you for making such a funny and unique idea on the theme. Love the Mortal Kombat throwback progression screen. There were so many details about this game that made it feel fleshed out and built with passion. The music, the upgrade system, the visuals, the characters, the ability to choose a harder opponent, the voice lines... I had one thought that maybe if the crowd started to chant if someone had low enough health might make the fights feel even more intense. And having a different song for the final boss. But I truly had a good time live streaming this and it's a well-deserved high ranking. Congrats on the 4th place!!
There was so much I loved about this game. The old school action movie vibes and sounds, the simplicity, the art style. It reminded me of one of my favorite PS2 games growing up, Stuntman, or even Viewtiful Joe. The overall concept for this game is awesome, I had fun live streaming it and hope to see more!
The visual effects were awesome. Felt like I was playing on an old arcade screen. I really like the music and SFX. Is the world procedurally generated? I had fun live streaming this game, especially after getting those cool upgrades. One thing I noticed was it became a little move once your horde got big enough, it seemed the squelet's would get stuck on one another or the environment. But nice cohesive game! Would be cool if there was a final boss you had to build up to fighting, or a town of people. Congrats on taking 28th!
I love games like this! I think you executed it well. Something I think could have been more clear which attribute line up with which column in the grid. If that color code was applied to the grid it would have been more clear. Though I believe I correctly figured it on live stream and had a good time! Nice job!
I really liked your submission! I live streamed the game and there were times that felt nice and tense, I wasn't sure if I was going to make it another 10m but I did end up beating the game! Cool ending and leveling system! Idk if you plan on continuing development of the game, but it might be cool to add safe houses you can heal up or find weapons in, but would have their own HP and fall apart if you staid in them too long. Great submission for this jam!
Nice sounds and visuals! I love games like this. Upgrading was fun and movement was nice. There was also a good challenge to it. Two major problems I had with it 1) dashing where you looking as opposed to where you were moving and 2) since I'm clicking the screen so much, when upgrades pop up there's a high chance I would click one unintentionally before being able to decide. I live streamed the game if you want to see my reaction. Good job on this submission!
I had way too much fun trying to make my last stand in this game! Great music and energy! Solid visuals and simplicity as well. I live streamed the game if you want to see my reaction. Clicking the enemies was fun and had nice feedback. Had my hand so tired by the end, I welcome the challenge! Great submission! Congrats on taking 26th.
Super fun game! Definitely one of my favorites. I love everything about it, especially the music (giving Friday Night Funkin' vibes). So much detail went into this, like ever character having their own theme. I'm definitely gonna come back to this and play more for sure. But I had a blast live streaming this. I've been meaning to play Slay The Spire and this has definitely inspired me to make that sooner than later. Really glad this worked out for you guys!
Easily one of my favorite submissions this jam! Huge game! Fun gameplay and mechanics. Some things in the inventory systems or usefulness of certain items had me a little confused. I tried so hard to kill the Mysterious Galleon lol. Until I realized I could not avoid the plot. I lived streamed this cool pirate adventure if you want to see my reaction. Awesome submission!
Once I figured out the mechanics, I started to have fun with your game! The visuals, audio and story-telling were on point! What I found difficult were the dying/frenzy/healing thing, shooting direction being based on my movement as opposed to mouse location and my horde seeming to only surround me and not attack enemies (unless you just intended for them to be bodyguards). I love survivorlikes and I think there might be potential here. I streamed it if you want to see my experience. Good job!
One of the absolute best submissions this jam! Love the name, idea, humor, audio, polish... nailed the theme in a fun and creative way, and I (sadly) related too well to the micromanagement haha. I'm sure it appealed to many others and provided joy to them as well. I really enjoyed streaming this if you want to see my reaction. Superb job!
There was more to this game than I was expecting! The fact you could change the parameters of everything was above and beyond. The game felt really cohesive all around. I enjoyed streaming this one to my viewers if you want to see my reaction. Been a fan of Godzilla since I was young. This submission felt unique and fun!
I like the Katamari Damacy vibes! Took me far too long to realize the ship grows bigger haha. Visuals and story-telling are on point! Good humor and cohesive style. My biggest gripe is not being able to skip the intro every time you restart the game. But I had fun and live streamed it if you want to see my reaction. Nice submission!
