thanks for the praise :)

If you have issues with the web version we have a Mac and Windows version for you to download (as stated in the description). Please feel free to try out that :)

Thanks for the priase!

It should be fixed now

I'm sorry, i dont have a mac to test the build on. I'll get to work on fixing it!

I've just added a mac version. Feel free to try out the game and leave a review :)

Thanks for the feedback! The possibility to remove snow was actually told to the player in the dialogue with the first house, although I feel many people skip through the dialogue.

you might want to try playing the windows version it works a lot better than the web version which is super buggy

The web version is broken (as said by the snails in the description), try playing the windows version that one should work fine :)

There was a windows zip download lol (did you not see the construction snails on the web?). Thanks for the feedback

(1 edit)

The treehouse was oliver's secret right? Or is there some deep underlying dark lore i looked over? Also i could not crush the armidilo thing. big dissapointment :( Suspiciously large file size....

OH MY GOSH I LOVE THIS GAME BROOOOOOOOOOOO 😭😭😭😭 IT WAS PERFERCT IN EVERY WAY DONT EVER CHANGE. Seriously, you guys did an amazing job and you need to win. I want to see a full release on steam some day. I loved the gorgeous cartoony artstyle and awesome music. The level design and worldbuilding was great and I loved all of the little easter eggs. Great attention to detail and polish with the cutscenes and animations. dont tell anyone but i gave 5 stars for everything and im usually somebody who gives a lot of critical feedback, but theres nothing to critique or give feedback on (other than maybe the ui but that doesnt matter).

I'd appreceate it if you put in the time to play, rate, and give feedback on my game Snail Mail. Best of luck with your game dev careers!

I loved the polish and effort put into this game, but the gameplay seemed a bit difficult. Its tough to understand the perspective of new players from the developers point of view, so let me provide some feedback as a new player. The throwing mechanic was maybe a bit too complex, with you being able to throw the object with physics, although that was a nice touch. I would have been easier for players to understand and learn if the could just throw left and right (and up and down if need be). The fact that the player doesnt take the toy with them from room to room is frustrating and the pick up radius for the toy is probably too close. The enemies can see you when youre above them (i assume you used a radius) which seems unnatural and unfair. Apart from that everything was great: the polish in scene transitions, enemy ai movement (seemed very human like), the UI, and the audio (which I loved), and the awesome pixel art paired with cool lighting! When i used the web version and windows version with controller though, it didnt spawn me into the next scene after the beginning cutscene. I was just falling in the void, but when i restarted and tried again with keyboard it worked fine. Idk what happened there. Anyways, I had a good time playing your game, well done.

Please check out my game as well and give some feedback :)

I liked the ui and graphics of the game. They seemed very polished, although that effort probably shouldve been put to better use to provide a tutorial and even some free sound effects and song to go with the deafening silence of the game. I was pretty lost, and multiplayer doesnt seem like it is the way to go for game jams which done have a stable player base. I didnt know what the gun, bomb, and red tiles meant or did either. Just to be clear im not hating, just giving constructive feedback.
I'd greatly appreceate if you gave my game a go and provided some feedback! :)

Thanks for the feedback!

buddy just described our game lol. Thanks for playing!

Well its funny actually. Our artist didnt actually make much art for the game, so I had to go back to some concept art that he made before and take a screenshot of that and put it in the game to have more blocks. And then I wanted to have a logo and a name show up before the game starts to look professIonal (which obviously didnt work). The image itsself is just the head of a bull i belive.

Im affraid youve forgotten to save your rating. Glad you enjoyed the game. The score didnt update correctly because it uses the object with the highest y position instead of the actual highest point. If you liked the single player i suggest getting a friend or family member to play the multiplayer version, it can be quite fun as well.

Thanks! And thanks for commenting and voting. Youre the first person round’ these parts in a while.

yes, our artist didnt have time to make many assets so us programmers had to take matters into our own hands lol

glad you enjoyed it!

Im afraid our artist didnt have the time to draw that pillar. The waiting time is annoying we’re working on that. Somethine went wrong in the build.

I loved the characters and game concept a lot. Me and my friend had a lot of fun giving them funny voices. Good job! The UI sometimes dissapeared for me tho (the licence tab).

I liked the music and sfx. The controls felt tight but floaty at the same time which is kinda hard to pull off but you did. The only part I didnt like was having to redo the platforming. Well done on the game overall!

w

actually 24 hours worth of effort. I counted the amount of time spent on the project lol

W title and w graphics. Tutorial was good. W game

I liked the audio and graphics. The tutorial was abit lacking but once i got the hang of the game it was well pretty fun. Good job!
