Mobile port is TBA (to be announced).

There is no lives system in the game, so there is no game over screen.

The aspect ratio cannot change or else camera boundaries would change. The window can otherwise be resized.

Linux is planned for v0.2!

Levels are saved locally to your computer. You will have to send the files to your other computer, like uploading the folder to Google Drive and downloading it.

Linux version is planned to release in v0.2, however Steam will have to wait for the full game.

Our team decided early on we wanted our official wiki to be away from Fandom after bad experiences in the past. The site is filled with ads and unrelated-videos, to the point where it lags or doesn't load at all on mobile. There was also a June 2023 incident on Fandom's McDonald's Wiki's Grimace page where McDonald's paid Fandom to replace the Grimace article with an advertisement promoting the Grimace Shake.

We are excited to use wiki.gg to host our official wiki, and they personally helped us with setting up the wiki!

Only moderators can make levels Spotlighted. Make sure your level is of high quality, look at Story mode for examples of good level design. You can increase your odds of your level been seen by submitting in the #level-sharing channel of the BFDI: Branches Discord.

Run up to the gap, then press crouch to crouch under the gap.

For vertical gaps, only Leafy can fit into 1-block gaps.

BBcode is the markup language used for text in the game for things like NPC text and user profiles. The game gives some example BBcode tags on the side. If you're unsure how someone made something in BBcode, press Enter to open the level editor, then place an NPC on the same tile to open up the text field.

They are available in the editor, you have to click on an element to change its style.

Entering a red Camera Stop tile locks the camera in place. Then, entering a green Camera Follow tile makes it follow the player again.
