I bought this asset and made a horror game with it-I'm obviously featuring you in the credits :) Housekeeping to Room 501 on Steam Really great work!

This is great, thank you very much!

I was NOT aware that those were a thing :D That is just crazy! Thanks for bringing it up! This was "just" a quick jam thing I made, there are no plans to work on it more. Bu feel free to do so, the code is right there :D

Thank you SO MUCH for playing the game and even making a video! Feel free to share any feedback you might have with us, this is still in active development :) At the moment we're working on collectible Lost & Found Items.

No Elmo, put the gun down! Nice assets, I am a fan of the shadows, gives it a cut-out look

Thank you very much! I have no idea how you got exposed to this game, it was made for a jam in which you could only use a very limited amount of code. That's what all the numbers and such below are ^^ Thank you for trying it anyway!

Thanks :)

Thank you so much!

This is incredible, those are depths that I have never seen and I admire your determination!

Thank you for sharing your experience and these screenshots, I really appreciate it! It makes me happy to know that somebody is enjoying my games :)

This is so impressive,great job!

This is crazy impressive, thanks for your work and sharing it!

This was really fun, you're a good writer! I really enjoyed the absurdities!

Thank you very much for playing :) I also struggle with Duneon Crawlers etc., which is why I wanted to make a very simple one to try learning to enjoy it. It is really impressive how far you've gotten, I've never made it past Level 9 :D

I played this and I am beyond impressed-such a cool and unique idea, executed so well-really really impressive

Thank you for trying it and sharing your score :)

Really enjoyed your encryption, thanks for giving my game a go!

Thank you so much for taking the time to try the game and a special thanks for writing this comment. I'm really enjoying this jam and it shows that you care about your jam, which feels great. Thank you for all the comments on everybody's games and the feedback you're providing-it is what makes this jam so special <3

The animation of the ball is sooo satisfying! And the game works great, it's fun when it picks up steam

"I thought the name was funny" is probably a bad reason, right?

First of all: thanks for playing and the feedback!

The limitation is inspired by a card game ans saves a lot of code . And because this jam only allows for games under 1kb of code I made it a feature.

But feel free to change it however you like :)

This is hard but sooo cool :) Really nice concept and idea

Thanks for that review, I'll revisit this if I find time.

EDIT: I changed it, stepping on a new tile now reveals it's neighbors, hopefully giving you a feeling of agency. Thanks for the feedback!

Incredible feedback, thanks for your work and playing the game! I will incorporate your change and I'll try to tweak the game loop to allow for some strategizing.  Thank you!

EDIT: Changed the game, thank you for your feedback and especially your help redesigning the dice function!

I really hope some people use it and create their own boxes - and I hope I get to see them :)

This is very cool :) I love creating boxes and manuals for games, but I seldom do it. This is an encouragement to do it more often. Thanks!

Little update: Just noticed I haven't left this page in between writing these comments. Thanks for the good time!

Used this as an excuse to finally learn this type of game-and immediately got addicted. Such a good implementation, and at least 10 extra points for the cleverness of implementing the theme in such a smart way.

This is the best thing ever! Great first title, great first game. And a banger soundtrack!

Thanks for the feedback! And yes, it was more of a challenge and less of an effort to "win" anything in this jam^^

Thanks!

That's a fun idea, I'll probably do that if I revisit this after the jam has ended :)

Thanks for the feedback! Yes, it ain't part of the featureset, it's more a "what if"

Thank you! Maybe I will after the contest ends. Thanks for the comment!

Yes-if I continue this I'll lean into that!

Old-timer, how dare you give me a lowres map in this hires game? :D Really nice artstyle, I love exploration games. And every game with a crowbar is a huge win for me :)

Your game could use some more breathing room, 64x64 is decisively tight, but I'd still like to know what is going on before I run into an enemy killing me.

Cool concept, soothing sounds. Didn't get it all, but tried my best.

Shiny, shiny gold!

Cool gamedesign! This does not need a lot of explanation, it is easy to grasp and hard to master, a perfect balance. The dragon announcing the line of it's attack is a good decision and shows the thought you put into this game!

extra points for the J/K controls :D
