This is a great game! There is a lot of polish! The art looks good! I didn't realize there was a timer so when I tried to click on a bee I accidentally restarted. Might be good to give the player a moment to realize that they lost. I would also prefer that the game was infinite and it just increased difficulty over time somehow. Other than that I think it's super fun controlling the bees and avoiding the Vulture! Thank you for making this game!
This game is fun! Good platforming, although the physics could use a touch up. The timer adds to the pacing but it was kind of hard to tell how to beat a level, I though it was by collecting all the coins, but after collecting them all and trying to open the door, it sent me back to the start of the level which can be frustrating for players. Great platforming tho and a decent challenge! Thank you for making this game!
Music is nice! I love the color palette of this game. Overall it is very soothing. I didn't like that if something got stuck or a box didn't fall into a hole like it was supposed to I had to restart all over. And the game play lacks a bit as you're just pushing boxes. But overall it's a very soothing game and I enjoyed! Thank you for making this game!
Honestly, I though this was really clever game design! At first I though it was too simple, and didn't allow for player choice, but then it moved on and you were required to be precise. You were also required to gauge the distance for the platforms. Yes the physics were a bit wonky at time, and the enemy hitboxes were a little unforgiving, but I kinda like how it required you to be precise with your platforming, and it wasn't too difficult to overcome. I'd suggest a death animation or something to give the player visual feedback for dying because it's very sudden and unexpected.
Awesome job! Very impressed with this one!
The art is really good! The concept is really cool! There are some bugs that prevented me from progressing on one part, where dashing to the platform would send me back a level, which was frustrating. The mask concept is so cool tho and I'd love to come back if the game gets polished! Thank you for making this game!
I played your game and gave you a rating! Really good game! Here's ours! https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-8/entries We had a ton of fun with this one.
I'll give your game a go! Here's ours! https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-8/rate/1681514
A really cool and unique idea I don't think I've seen anywhere else. The neon art style is really pleasing to look at! This game breaks the mold to high challenge games!
I wish that the controls and mechanics were communicated. It took me a while to figure out you could bump the purple thing up. There were so many times where I would accidentally bump it into a place where I couldn't reach it, and with no apparent way to reset the current position, I had to totally restart. I think this is because the bullets don't disappear when restarting, because a bullet would come back and hit it behind me. I understand the challenging part, but it's no fun when I can't progress because it would get stuck where I can't reset. Hopefully that helps!
Other than that it was challenging and fun!
Otherwise I'd love to play this again later if you plan on working on it more! Thanks for making it!
What a unique design! The build your own army mechanic is really neat. I like the fish eye lens effect. A lot of attention to detail and the art was perfect.
Unfortunately at the last beetle, I set the target as the big beetle but only a few ants at a time were attacking, and the beetle went from about 50 health, all the way back to 400 which was frustrating. That was when I learned you could eat the ants, which is great attention to detail! But I still couldn't get the queen back up to speed enough to take down the beetle, and I had eaten everything on the map.
Great game and great work! Thanks for making this game!
