Nice! What was the issue? (Asking out of curiosity)

(1 edit)

Fun game!

I like that it forces the player to not just stay back and shoot from a distance and they have to go in after each kill to get the exp.

Not sure if it is a bug or not, but the timer keeps going on the game over screen. Would be nice to be able to see the time I lasted.

Nice game! Had quite a bit of fun playing it. Blast Radius/Damage build = OP

I saw it in the devlog section. My screen was zoomed out and I thought it was a shooting gallery type of thing.

That title song is awesome! Listened to it 3 times, without even starting the game. I only made it to level 1-4. The player movement feels a tad bit too slow.

Great game. I love the concept.

Nice work!

I like this game. The only issue I have is that the boss can spawn on top of the player without any type of indication. It led to many of my game overs.

I crashed while on the bike. How do I respawn?

This game taps into parts of my brain that were clearly not taken care of.

I love the look of the game and UI, the game progression does feel a little too slow though.

I placed my well backwards. Is there anyway to rotate after it was placed?

That’s a neat idea. What’s your time?

I left a rating. Well deserved 5 stars. Short but very enjoyable!

No worries. I asked since I was having issues getting gamepad to work in browser. I figured out what the issue was, was something on my end, not the game.

Nice game! Any plans for a Linux build, not sure how well GameMaker handles that.

I am using FireFox(127.0)

Whenever I get this key, it doesn’t seem to stay in my inventory. If I leave and come back, the key is back in this room and I can not unlock either of the doors right outside this room. Am I missing something?

When I first tried to learn love2d, I started with this site. I found it very helpful at the time, but honestly I learned more about love2d by messing around with other frameworks/libraries. In between my first time trying to use love2d and now, I have made very small games in raylib(c), monogame(c#), pygame(python), pico8(lua) and godot. While they very different, they share a lot in common and some of the core concepts carry over. So I have been slowly learning over a span of about 2 years.

There is also a ton of useful info and examples on the wiki. It can be a little daunting if you are not used to reading those “the docs”, but after a while it became my starting point when I got stuck.

Only made it to level 7, but had a fun time playing.

I like the concept. More variety of game would be nice, also the time in between the mini games feel too long.

Really fun game, very polished.

The only downside I see is there isn’t a reason to get out of the middle lane. I like on the top lane, there are places the player can’t move through and must change lanes. But on the 2 road lanes, all I need to worry about is jumping. Perhaps if there were a type of car that could not be jumped over, forcing the player to change lanes. Just a thought.

Nice little game. At first, the movement felt off but quickly got used to it.

Very fun experience. Enjoyed the sounds effect!!

Fun short game.

I was able to get around it by saving then loading the game.

On day 2, I tried to read to note on the table again. Pressing [E] will not make it go away, it just keeps on sliding down and back up.

Congrats on the 1.0 release!!!

I like the concept! My memory is not that good, so I kept walking into the traps.

Great experience! Was not able to finish it, but really enjoyed my time playing it.

Nice game! I feel like my score came mostly from luck.

Could you give it a try now?

I see what you mean. I’ll get this fixed.

For the first word, you can use whatever word you want. But maybe I should add a starting letter, for clarity. Thanks for bring this to my attention.

Nice! Not much to say other than, “its a fun game”.
