You’re very welcome! 😊

You can grab the updated PDF from the project page. Just scroll to the bottom of the page, and you’ll find the download button there. If you’ve already downloaded it before, it’s the same location—we’ve replaced the old file, so you’ll just need to redownload it.

Hey there!

Welcome to this year’s BMGJ!

Thanks for catching that—we hadn’t noticed the playkit issue until you mentioned it! It’s been fixed now, along with a new playkit and an updated version of the book. The Archetype instructions got a big upgrade too, so definitely check it out!

We’re so glad you’re enjoying the game, and if anything else comes up, let us know.

Hi there! 😊

We’re so excited that you’re diving into Solitaria! For the NPC mechanics, you only need to pick one moment (under each archetype’s stage) at a time during a stage. This is interchangeable with the pre-made NPC’s hangout scenario. Each interaction helps deepen the relationship. Once you reach max Favor, you’ll trigger the milestone scenario, which wraps up that stage and unlocks the next one.

To make this even clearer, we’ve updated the PDF version to include more detailed instructions in the Archetype section, along with a flowchart that walks you through how to activate NPCs. Be sure to check it out—it should help!

If you have any more questions, we’re here to help. Have fun exploring Solitaria! 🌿

Hi there! 👋 Thanks for checking in and for your patience. We’ve just uploaded the PDF for the single-page version with a higher resolution, “Single Mintin Cards - Full Size.7z”, so you should be good to go! 🎉

Here are some ideas to help get you started:

What’s your name or online handle? 🎮

Where are you from? 🌍

Have you participated in a game jam before? If so, what’s been your favorite jam? 🎨

What inspires you to create games? 💡

Do you have any holiday traditions or winter activities you love? ❄️🎅

What theme(s) are you most excited to explore in this jam? 🏔️✨

Do you have any fun or quirky facts about yourself to share? 🎉

Don’t be shy—jump in and say hello! 👋 We can’t wait to get to know everyone and make this jam the best yet.

Thank you so much for bringing this up and for kickstarting the conversation with such a thoughtful question! We absolutely understand where you’re coming from. The overlap between halflings and hobbits was something we had been considering for a while, and your suggestion really resonates with us.

We’re actually in the process of making some updates, and I’m happy to let you know that we’ve decided to replace halflings with elves. We feel this will bring more variety to the character selection and add a fresh dynamic to the game world.

Once again, thank you for sharing your ideas—we love hearing feedback like this from our community! Please keep the questions and suggestions coming.

Hi, please email [email protected] with your proof of purchase.

Hello there! 🌄

Thank you for sharing your journey into Solitaria with us—it’s inspiring to hear about your exploration of solo TTRPGs. We completely get it: sometimes solo play can feel like work, especially when it’s heavy on story creation and light on game structure. Balancing that game feel with storytelling was a big focus in Solitaria’s design.

To help make things feel smoother, we highly recommend you to only learn about the “Fate Step.” mechanics to start. This system is there to lighten your role as the GM by letting the game handle some of the “what happens next.” While you still get to guide your character’s journey creatively, Fate Step provides structure to support you within the world we’ve created—its settings, NPCs, and locations—so it feels more like playing and less like managing.

It’s like, oh I want to do this, what happens? How about this, and let Fate Step determine the fate of whatever action you’ve just performed.

To help you get started more easily, here’s a simple guide you can follow:

Jump right in: Once you’ve created your character, skip the detailed rules for inventory, abilities, or dates for now, just understand how Fate Step works and what’s the various elements means in your Character Sheet. Instead, start your adventure by arriving at Skydrop Landing. What does your character see, and what would they like to explore?

Head home when you’re ready: After your first exploration in Skydrop Landing, use a cloud shuttle to head back home. Just follow the shuttle’s directions and note down what you see along the way.

Start fresh each day: On your second day, begin with the “Rize Sprite.” This sets the day’s tone, and from there, let your character decide—will they continue exploring, work toward a dream, or get to know Skydrop Landing, or your Home Island more deeply?

If you need help with filling in details, the Oraclapedia Hall have alot of other types of oracles to help you generate more content too.

We hope these steps help you ease into the game while keeping it fun and relaxed. Take your time, you don’t need all the rules to start with, enjoy the journey, and when you’re ready to dive deeper, all the game’s features will be there waiting for you, learn a new game mechanics when you’re ready.

So happy to hear you’re having a blast with Solitaria! 😊

Unfortunately, we don’t have a Discord just yet, but this Itch board is a great spot to chat and share your adventures. It’s awesome seeing the community grow, and we’re definitely keeping an eye on ways to help everyone connect even more in the future.

Yay, you made it in! 🎉 So glad to hear you’re diving right in and feeling the excitement—choosing between the Artist and Outcast sounds like the start of an awesome journey (both are such interesting characters!). Artist would be a great way to explore the rich world and the beautiful floating islands while Outcast might find themselves a home here.

And yes, we’ve got you covered with fillable sheets! We just uploaded them, you can download the playkit.7z, and we’ve also split each sheet into its own individual file so you can handle them separately or make duplicates if needed.

Enjoy exploring Solitaria—it’s going to be a fantastic adventure! 😊

Thanks so much for sharing this with us, and glad to hear you’re enjoying the new layout so far! 😊

We couldn’t find the error you mentioned-is this on page 112? If you’re able to share a quick screenshot of the page or section where it’s showing up that way, that would really help us get a better look and see if we can fix it from our side.

Thanks again for bringing this to our attention—we appreciate it!

Oh, I love that idea! An artist with a taste for adventure? That’s going to be such a fun journey! 🎨✨ I’m excited for you and can already imagine your artist sketching out their adventures as they go. I’m sure your artist will have endless things to explore, sketch, and maybe even turn into masterpieces.

There’s just something so cool about seeing characters come to life with their own dreams and quirks—it really brings a whole new layer to the game.

Love it! A former hero learning to chill and bake—that’s the Solitaria spirit! 😊 It sounds like she’s on a perfect path to find that simpler life (and maybe even master the art of sourdough).

And you’re right—Skybeasts are indeed the way to explore the other islands. You can rent one at any Skybeast Rental Port for -1P, and the restrictions are there to gradually ease you into new content and give your character time to adapt. When you’re ready to head back home, though, just hop on a Cloud Shuttle, which will cost only time spent.

Thank you so much! 😊 We’re really proud of this one, along with our latest editions like Tin Tamer and Witasy Express—another self-discovery journaling game with its own unique gameplay style. Some of our earlier games were made with a different team and approach, and we feel there’s a noticeable difference in quality. Thanks to the amazing support from the community, we’re planning to remake many of those older titles to bring them up to our current standards.

Your enthusiasm truly means a lot to us, and we’re excited to keep creating and improving games for players like you. Can’t wait for you to dive into Solitaria and see what you think! 🎉

Thank you so much for the kind words—the voice overview does touch on some of the game’s many elements, and we’re really glad something resonates with you already. And please feel free to share any thoughts or ideas as you play—hearing feedback directly is something we truly value. :D

We can’t wait for you to experience it firsthand. When you’re ready to dive in, know there’s a warm, welcoming community excited to share in the adventure with you. Or at least the Devs/ I am are here for you.

Looking forward to seeing you join us soon! 🎉

The book you bought on Amazon is indeed the same game, but this new edition is a significant upgrade, with major changes and expansions. We’ve added five more islands, new actions, and so much fresh content that it’s become almost a whole new experience—more like an expanded, upgraded version than a simple reprint.

We’ve now closed the Amazon listing to make way for this new version, which we’ll list there soon once the updated images are finalized. If you purchased the Amazon version, please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected], and we’ll be happy to assist. Thanks again for your support!

Hello again! 😊 Thanks so much for following up, and I appreciate your patience here. It looks like the blurriness is something we’re actively troubleshooting too. Right now, we think it’s happening because the original images were too high-res, and scaling them down to fit the PDF created some unwanted blur.

We’re still pretty new to this process, so we’re working on finding the best long-term solution, and one option might be redoing the cards in vector for sharper quality (though it’ll take us some extra time).

For now, we’d be happy to release each card as an individual file as png or jpeg at a larger size, which might help with clarity for your print. We’ll try to get it all out by the following we as we recompile all the asset.

We’re grateful for your patience and feedback as we work through these early steps—hearing this from you really helps us understand where we can improve.

If you’re new to Solitaria, welcome! We’re so excited to have you join our cozy community of storytellers and explorers. This is the perfect place to introduce yourself, say hello, and let us know a little about what inspired you to start your journey in Solitaria.

Here are a few prompts to get started:

What are you most looking forward to in Solitaria?

Have you chosen a character archetype, or are you creating someone entirely new?

What do you hope your character will discover or accomplish on the floating islands?

Feel free to share your thoughts, ask questions, or just say hi! We’re a friendly, supportive group, and there’s always someone around to help if you need it.

Hello! Thanks for your question and for the sharp eye! 😊 It looks like you’re absolutely right; the instructions could be clearer on this point. Since the last page was designed as a universal backside for single-sided printing, we didn’t fully account for double-sided printing setups. It was an oversight on our end, as we assumed users would duplicate the back page if needed.

So, yes, to print double-sided with the same design on each back, you’ll need to duplicate that last page. Thanks for catching this, and we’ll look into adjusting the instructions in future updates. Appreciate the feedback—it helps us improve!

It looks like we had set up PayPal as an option before, but it may have been temporarily disconnected or unavailable. We’ve now fixed the issue, and you should be able to see PayPal as a payment option again.

Please give it another try :)

Hey there! 😊 Thanks so much for your patience and excitement—it really means a lot to us! I’m thrilled to let you know that we’ve just released both the paperback and hardback physical copies on Amazon. 🎉

It took a bit longer than we initially planned, but we wanted to make sure everything was just right.

Thanks again for your incredible support, and we can’t wait for you to get your hands on it!

Awesome to hear you’re excited! 😊 We’re working hard on the physical copy and aiming to have it ready by the end of August. Thanks for your support and kind words—means a lot to us!

Hey there!

Awesome to hear you’re excited about a physical copy! We totally get why you’d want one, especially since you’ve got all the other games. 😊

We’re actually working on some really cool cover art and illustrations for the full version right now. The print-friendly version was just a sneak peek—we wanted to get something out early, but the full edition is on its way. We’re planning to have it up on Amazon by the end of August, just giving ourselves a bit of time to make sure everything’s perfect with the feedback we’re getting.

Thanks so much for your patience and for sticking with us!

Hi there! Thank you for your question and for your interest in Witasy Express. We understand that having non-AI generated art is important to some of our fans. We’ve just released the second edition of Witasy Express, which is a print-friendly version and doesn’t include any illustrations for now. This version is designed to be easy to print and use, especially for those who prefer a more straightforward approach.

However, we are excited to let you know that a full version, complete with beautiful illustrations, is currently in the works and will be available soon. We believe this edition will enhance your experience with the game.

In the meantime, if you prefer a version without any illustrations, the print-friendly edition might be just what you’re looking for.

We’re pumped you’re here to join the fun. We want you to have the most epic taming experience ever, so if you spot any typos or glitches lurking in the game, don’t be shy – shoot us a line! We love feedback, and it helps us make Tin Tamer even more awesome.

Thanks for joining the adventure, and get ready to unleash your inner taming master! We know you’ve got this!
