Hello! I am looking for a game where you can play as a mentor or a guardian to another character. I'd love for it to be story driven (fantasy setting would also be nice, but it's not the most important thing). Doesn't matter if it's a visual novel, RPG etc. Thank you in advance for the answers.

Warrior Cats road to immortality, it's a fangame for a book series but at the beginning you can ask a few questions about the world so I think even those unfamiliar with the series can play it. It has a lot of endings (8, but not all choices you make along the way impact the ending, so you can finish the game twice with the same ending but different circumstances, e.g someone being dead), side quests/events and your choices matter a lot. It's a game you could play every day for weeks and still find something new. Overall, I think I've played it 60 times and it's really great. Huge recommendation to everyone who enjoys story-driven RPGs with choices that matter.

There's only one Act out and it's been like that for the past 8 years. The development for next acts is slow, but the developer is still active and working on the game. The ending of the first act doesn't leave many things 'hanging' or unanswered, so it doesn't feel like you're on a cliffhanger.

Aight so I kind of forgot about this game but I played it now and I'm sad. Very cool, although I wish we could explore Faraway Town...but thats not the point of the game lol.

That was short and fun game. I wish we could see what happened after spoiler the marriage ending tho. It sounds like their relationship wasnt so great.

I was searching for something my entine life. I never knew what it was or why I was looking for it, but I kept going. I'd sometimes lose hope because of my fruitless search. But in the end, I always stood up and walked on, because I knew that my something, my precious, was within my grasp.

Then I stumbled upon this game. I knew it. This was it. My whole life has led me to this one moment. To playing RE/COUNT RE:VERSE. Once I pressed play for the very first time, an umaginable wave of joy overflooded me. I cried, I laughed, I commited tax evasion. I was so happy. This game was such a masterpiece. This game IS such a masterpiece. Thank you. I finally found my precious, after all these years. I can finally live in peace.
