looking good man! keep it up! :D

these particles are great! I needed something like this so bad, thank you kindly :]

"hi!, haha!, no way..., *grunt, unit ready, on it!, we're under attack!, AEHhh, okay, hey ;), ehahahaha!, *vomits, *dies, game over."

yeah, I've heard enough, i'll take your whole stock, thank you very much.

fantastic game, i do have two small nitpicks, one, the camera movement follows the player and ends up lagging behind a bit, you can end up running into enemies without seeing them sometimes, i think it might help for the camera to follow a bit ahead of where the player is moving toward. And two, slimes should move a bit differently, instead of a constant speed of acceleration, they should dash in short bursts to match with their animation, so they're more so shimmying across the floor than sliding around. (the slime movement is more so for visuals so don't take it too serious.) All in all though the art is simplistic and fantastic, and the game feels great to play, Love it!

I take it back, physically disabled or not I beat it.

Lol, this is fire, but I can't beat it in the html version, I keep opening up my files while I play the game, pretty sure I downloaded a virus and sent nudes to everyone within my area as well. 10/10 though, music slaps.

Hey man, the center fishing box being bugged I was aware of but I couldn't come up with a solution in time, I'll fix it when the jam is over. you can get out of the shop its a bit confusing but you need to press Q, I was running out of time with the shop so I had to improvise, thank you for your feedback :)

unterdale :)

Thank you, much appreciated :)

I'm interested in making a game with some kind of fighting mechanic, Is it okay if I use this for a prototype?

haha, catching seagulls with a fishing rod is a brilliant idea, too bad I didn't think about it. My eyes would cross at the water when they got too strained while making it, be sure you're getting sufficient sleep and taking breaks, thank you so much for playing :)

SO GOOD! It took me a good few tries before I understood the mechanics, but I loved everything about the game, the graphics, audio, and little storyline it had going on complimented one another really well, despite it being short it's got to be one of the best games in the jam I've played so far! the only issue I really noticed is how the player could clip through the sub sometimes, and it was a bit frustrating, all in all, very nicely done :)

Feet / 10 ;) (sadly no pufferfish)

Love the game! there aren't many differences between levels though, I'd love to see some more things going on, otherwise great job :)

It's so good!!!!! If I didn't participate in this game jam, I wouldn't have thought this was made so quickly! the audio is great, the visuals are stunning, and the gameplay loop is perfect! all it's really missing is like, maybe another enemy type, and improved ai. but besides that this is amazing!!!! good job :)

I don't know who omar is, but he omars me a new pair of pants. what the bloody hell is even happening!?!?!?!?!

SPARE ME OMAR PLEASE, I NEVER MEANT THIS TO HAPPEN, I JUST RAN OUT OF TIME!!!!!

thank you so much! really appreciate it :)

Absolutely fantastic, gameplay is probably better then my game, I had lots of fun, unfortunately it did crash when I speared a fish. not minding that though, this is a nice simple game, with a surprising amount of content for the timeframe it was made in. 10/10

It's just as good as it looked in the discord post! the SFX sounds so good, I forgot that the game was free.

super addictive, little harsh on the eyes though, besides that it's probably the game that's had me playing the longest so far, well done!

I love it! it's like a 2d Ultrakill with FISH! what more could one man want!?

Yes, came across them a few times, one of them was a pretty close encounter

Great game! the player looks wonderful! sure is hard though haha, no bugs encountered, just some goofy ahh lasers, well done!

I love everything about this, the graphics, Lord Fishster, and the atmosphere! so good!

Love it!

I love this, this is bloody fantastic!

(the freezing might just be me, internet has been real funky as of late)

So good!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Procedural animation in a game jam is wild! the gameplay is simple yet so enjoyable at the same time, the game is accessible and gives off major rain world vibes. only issue I have is the html version would freeze every so often. I won't count it regardless because of favoritism though. A

So good! I saw this in the discord chat! the art is so well done, and it felt great to play! bonus points for accessibility. (I don't mean to brag, but I beat this first try)

post it is a pretty cool idea, overall this is a pretty fun and impressive project, awesome job!

I love the idea, and it's executed quite well on top of it!

Pretty neat game, fits well with the jam theme and I love the creepy atmosphere. well done!

fair point, I noticed it too but it was too late to fix it, glad you enjoyed!

thanks!

I like the idea and the execution was done quite well, but I feel like it fits more of a "there's always bigger fish" theme compared to the "you are the prey" theme provided, mainly because you play as both prey and predator. other than, this is awesome!

no.

I might be wrong, but I think this game suggests I'm a frog.

Pew Pew Mayhem is a fun retro roguelike shooter game, the goal is simple, get the highest score possible.

The game plays like this: enemies spawn randomly offscreen and charge towards you, if they hit you, you lose a life point. You have 3 life points each round, if you lose all 3, you die. In order to delay your death you can use your weapon to kill enemies or destroy any incoming projectiles.
