This truly is a balls game

This game is really well done. I love the balance between the dodging sections, and the tower defense sections. Having it be a build your own bullet hell is really fun, and because everything you do it to yourself, it leaves it feeling very fair. Sadly, I had my game completely lock up at 23600 points, but it was a fun time until then. Really well executed game with a great concept.
Surprisingly good puzzler. After solving the first few levels with the same solution, I was afraid this game would just be the same thing over and over, but having the entire stage change shape really helped the puzzle design. The timer really kept the pressure on to keep making progress, and it never felt either too loose, or too tight. My only complaint would be how you control the game. Using the mouse can feel a bit clunky, and my hand started to hurt by the end with all the frequent clicking. If I could just use the wasd or the arrow keys to swap, that would have been preferred, at least for me. Either way, definitely a great entry!
It only clicked for me on level five that the roll reversal in this game is the mechanics in each level. That being said, this game is not hard, but it is a fun little showcase of how mechanics work if they are the opposite of what is expected, without feeling blatantly and intentionally unfair. Also I appreciate the title only having to do with one small part in one level, nice game.
Pretty good for 3 hours. However moving backwards on the track instead of just stopping where you were felt a bit unnecessary and made me feel out of control during play. Also, giving the towers a bit of delay at the start of the level allowed be to get up to level 5 without trying and just by holding the mouse down. Good concept and start, wish there was a little more done with it.
I really like what I played, but it was a bit confusing. Cards didn't seem to synergize or work how I expected them to. For example, Buyback of Boat discarding after switching hands seems backwards as it is written. That being said, when card combos work, they are quite fun. With a bit of retooling, I can definitely see this game becoming a full fledged game. But, as it is, it's a nice proof of concept.
A good idea and game, held back by a few quality of life changes and fixes. When everything works, it's a fun mad dash to get everything done in such little time. However the item pickup system really leaves something to be desired, and can lead you to losing just because your sat there trying to pick one item up for five or more seconds. Having the boxes give random items accentuates this problem, I lost level 2 just because it only gave me shovels and I did not have enough time to chop all the materials I needed. It really is a shame, since when you get that perfect run it's quite fun, but these glaring issues bog the game down too much. Good entry and game, just with there was that little bit more polish it needed.
It was a nice game, simple but nice. The music perfectly fit the tone of the game perfectly, and as presentation goes everything belonged and added to the atmosphere of the game. There isn't much to do or much variation, but there does not need to be; for what it is it's a nice experience. My only real criticism is that the game feels slow. A lot of the game time is just spent during transitional sequences. But overall, a pleasant game, nice job.
A fun fast paced panic. Took me a couple tries to get the handle of things, but pretty good when I got it down. The game's definitely balanced a bit oddly, and I could easily get infinite gold very fast which negated pretty much all troubles I could run into. I also ran into some pretty annoying bugs on my way, like turning the entire game red, or having the main menu button not work at all. With a little more polish and some rebalancing, this could be a real gem.
Goofy presentation, but actually really well done. Each puzzle felt well made and difficult, yet always felt fair. Many times I was just left doing the completely wrong thing, as the actual solution was just staring me in the face. The fake-out mobile game style 3 star screen is also a very nice comedic touch. My only real complaint is how loud and sharp the Grelbo noises were though out the game, but even then that is a minor thing. Good game, better puzzles, and the best rap.
Interesting enjoyable concept for a game, but I feel little to no urgency. Moving around felt a bit slow and sluggish, as did each task. I wish there was some sort of timer to force the player to rush completing tasks, instead of being able to take all the time in the world. That being said, I do definitely think this concept could work, with a little bit of expansion. Also perfect name, it's great.
The way the roll is used is quite clever. I love that it both changes the current shot pattern, and is a normal dodge roll on top. With how many enemies and projectiles are on the screen at all times, it can be very easy to lose yourself or oncoming projectiles in all the chaos though. Overall, it's a very clever use of the theme.
I definitely like the theming and it looks like it'd be a lot of fun, but I couldn't seem to get it working properly. A lot of the hud elements on the web version were off screen for me, and the emotions my opponent was supposed to show didn't render at all. When I tried playing the download version, it just gave an error message and crashed every time.
This was a nice game. The colour gates were a good twist on the dice rolling concept, there were some clever puzzles utilizing it. I would have liked if you could restart the level without having to dying, and the total moves count felt very lenient to me, especially on the final stage. Overall though, I liked it, nice work
